LTE Data Plans
Customers can choose from tiered data plans starting as low as $15 per month. Existing smartphone customers do not have to make changes to their data plan. All plans include access to AT&T's national Wi-Fi network of more than 29,000 hotspots.

ATK and Air Force Successfully Test New Large Class Stage III Rocket Motor
ATK Rocket Motor Represents Air Force's First Investment in Developing Potential Family of Motors Capability
ARLINGTON, Va., Oct. 31, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- ATK (NYSE: ATK) and the United States Air Force successfully tested ATK's newly developed Large Class (92-inch diameter) Stage III solid rocket motor at the Air Force's Arnold Engineering Development Center (AEDC) in Tennessee.
The Stage III motor is designed to ignite at altitudes in excess of 85,000 feet. In order to accurately test the motor's performance the static fire was conducted at AEDC using a vacuum chamber specially designed to simulate upper atmospheric conditions. Preliminary data show all channels of data were collected, and performance appears to be within predictions.
The high-performance motor was developed by ATK for the Large Class Stage III program and uses emerging technologies from other Air Force developmental programs including the Propulsion Application Program and Integrated High Payoff Rocket Propulsion Technology. The contract is managed out of the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center at Hill Air Force Base.
The Air Force has been tasked with maturing and demonstrating available technologies in a Large Class Solid Rocket Motor (SRM) and with demonstrating a potential Family of Motors (FOM) capability applicable to future propulsion systems. FOM capability would save the Air Force future development costs by assembling an array of existing rocket motors that could be combined to meet most all future mission requirements at a fraction of the cost of developing new propulsion systems for each mission.

Samplify Systems Releases Second Generation Ultrasound Beamforming Development System
Based on Company's Innovative Autofocus(TM) Beamforming Technology, Development System Speeds Ultrasound Equipment Design By Up to 12 Months
FUZHOU, China, Oct. 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- ChinaInternational Medical Equipment Fair, (CMEF) - Samplify Systems, Inc., a technology company focused on delivering innovative semiconductors, modules, and subsystem solutions to the ultrasound industry, has released its second generation beamforming development system-the SMK9130-A2. Along with new higher performance hardware, the SMK9130-A2 includes the newest version of Samplify's Ultrasound Application Programming Interface - SUAPI 2.0. This API abstracts the underlying hardware in the system allowing OEMs to develop software quickly and "future-proof" their imaging software to next generation hardware components, thus preserving their development investment. Samplify will demonstrate its SMK9130-A2 system in booth H4-F45 at the CMEF from October 31 to November 2, 2011.
The API is a C++ middleware software layer that provides an easy-to use interface for the configuration and setup for various ultrasound scan types and for arbitrary probe definitions. Users can control all the parameters and functions of the hardware including the transmit beamformer, receive beamformer, power supplies, and various optional mid-processor functions, via high-level classes of scans, frames, sub-frames, and beams. The API is processor and operating system independent, running on ARM or x86 with Windows, Linux, or MacOS.

System Configuration
The new SMK9130-A2 system is a complete 64-channel transmit/receive beamforming front-end using the company's award winning AutoFocus(TM) technology and analog-front-end modules. The system, including all front-end electronics and high-voltage power supplies is enclosed in a single small chassis with a multiplexed probe interface on one end, and a USB2.0/x4 PCIe1.1 interface to a back-end CPU on the other.
The SMK9130-A2 system is currently available from Samplify Systems and its worldwide sales partners. Pricing is $60,000 (US), with additional pricing options to support volumes for clinical trials and production. With the purchase of the development kit, customers receive the hardware unit, software API, design files for hardware reference design, manufacturing license, and 3 months support. Discounted pricing is available for academic research institutions that do not require system design files or a manufacturing license.

YouTube Announces New Original Channels Including Seedwell's "American Hipster"
SF-Based creative studio's comedic, hipster-themed, pop culture channel will feature three weekly shows starting April 2012
SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- YouTube announced today that, starting next month, new original channels will start to roll out on its platform. YouTube has been working closely with content producers who will be creating new advertising-supported channels in the coming year for verticals including fashion, sports, music, comedy, animation, news and education.
The new channels are backed by some of the biggest producers and celebrities from Hollywood, some of the hottest emerging media companies, and some of the earliest pioneers of web video.
