Qvantel toimittaa Baswarelle laskutusjärjestelmän verkkolaskutusliiketoimintaan

Baswaren laskutustapahtumien käsittelyä uudella, innovatiivisella

    Qvantelin sovellus kerää tietoa Basware Verkkolaskupalvelun

Joint Efforts between Imatest and Graphin Dramatically Reduce Time Required for Image Sensor Configuration

TOKYO, Feb. 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Imatest LLC, a Boulder, Colo.-based maker of the world's most popular image quality testing software, and Graphin Co., Ltd., of Tokyo, a rapidly emerging leader in evaluation suites for image sensors, have joined forces to expand the capabilities of Imatest's Image Sensor (IS) Edition, a powerful software tool that dramatically speeds the cycle of image capture, testing and analysis.

Now, Imatest's IS Edition interfaces directly with Graphin's "GPirates" (an evaluation suite for image sensor products), enabling engineers to quickly configure image sensors, using GPirates, and then immediately assess image quality with the IS Edition software.

Stunning Image Quality in Low-Light Conditions

Demanding low-light conditions and creative barriers are no match for the new COOLPIX P300. Superior image quality in low-light settings is achieved because of the P300's powerful combination of a 12.2-megapixel CMOS sensor, high ISO sensitivity, and the fast wide-angle f/1.8 lens.  The CMOS sensor in the P300 is designed so that each pixel receives light more efficiently for superior performance. ISO performance of up to 3200 helps to ensure that images have low noise and amazing clarity while the wide aperture increases the amount of available light to the sensor. Nikon's EXPEED C2 image processing engine also participates in this phenomenal feat, enhancing overall speed and performance to deliver images that burst with vivid clarity and color.

Taking Creativity to New Heights

Designed to give users even more creative freedom in a compact body, the P300 comes equipped with several features commonly found in D-SLR cameras such Aperture Priority (A), Shutter Priority (S) and Full Manual (M) Control. Easily accessed through a top mounted control wheel, users are able to capture images missed by other cameras, while obtaining a desired look and feel to images by creatively adjusting shutter speed, depth of field, white balance and other settings. Users can also apply special effects to colors, and filter effects such as a cross screen or fisheye lens. In Backlight HDR mode, the P300 combines multiple shots at different exposures while Night Landscape mode combines multiple shots taken with a faster shutter speed for reduced noise and improved tonal range throughout the photo.

The New COOLPIX P500: Beyond Super-Telephoto

The COOLPIX P500 features a 36x wide-angle optical Zoom-NIKKOR ED glass lens, shattering the conventional zoom barrier to create the "ultra-telephoto" premium compact.  From shooting super wide-angle 22.5mm to a staggering 810mm (35mm equivalent), the COOLPIX P500 is the best bet to capture the user's intent with exceptional image quality, even in challenging low-light conditions thanks to the 12.1-megapixel backside illumination CMOS sensor.

"We agree that comprehensive reform of the federal Universal Service Fund and intercarrier compensation system is necessary in order to ensure these government programs meet the needs of U.S. consumers, who are increasingly relying on mobile wireless communications for not only their voice and broadband services, but also innovative services such as mHealth and mLearning.  Indeed, we agree with Chairman Genachowski that the Universal Service Fund must take into account the rapid consumer adoption of wireless services, and we believe that ensuring support is available for the deployment of mobile broadband services in high cost areas is an essential element for successful reform.

"The FCC has recognized that the current universal service system, with its emphasis on legacy wireline voice technology, does not reflect market or technological realities. LG Attempts To Stop Sony PS3 Sales In USA

Good job, LG. I doubt this will ever pass, but LG is trying to stop sales of the Sony PS3 since they claim that the Blu-ray player infringes on their IP. Isn't imaginary property fun?

According to the documents, LG said it holds two patents that it believes Sony violates in the PlayStation 3 related to the way a Blu-ray player reproduces data from a Blu-ray disc. The company cited another patent that covers the "reproduction of multiple data streams" by way of multiple camera angles. LG also said Sony violates a patent it holds on the display of text subtitles on Blu-ray.

LG's decision to take aim at Sony follows a complaint filed by Sony with the ITC in late December. In that complaint, Sony said that LG violates patents it holds for mobile phones. The company asked the ITC to bar LG from selling its mobile phones in the United States.

Intel Continues Shipping Sandy Bridge Chipsets With Flaw

Intel is probably losing too much money to wait for the chipset fix to get into the channel. They are continuing shipments of the Sandy Bridge motherboard chipset with the flaw. The flaw can be worked around and most end users probably won't even notice any problems.

The flaw, said to affect 5 to 15 percent of all Cougar Point motherboards, results in a performance degradation for storage devices connected to the motherboard's SATA II data inputs. Devices that use those inputs are typically either hard drives or optical disk drives. If the inputs were affected, connected drives would eventually slow down to the point of becoming unusable.

To protect a PC from experiencing that issue, a system vendor could simply use the newer, faster SATA III inputs. Most Cougar Point desktop motherboards we've seen have four SATA II ports and two SATA IIIs. Laptop boards tend to have fewer inputs, but it's not hard to imagine that in a closed laptop or all-in-one chassis a vendor could simply use the SATA III inputs for the hard drive and the optical drive and ship without risk.

WEST CALDWELL, N.J., Feb. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Ricoh Americas Corporation, a leading provider of digital office equipment and advanced document management solutions and services, today announced the availability of the Aficio MP C2051/MP C2551 Color Digital Imaging System.  Ideal for small businesses and workgroups, this multifunction product (MFP) gives users the ability to handle all of their document-related processes with many features in a compact design.

The Aficio MP C2051/MP C2551 is engineered to keep pace with the way small companies do business. With the continued growth of the mobile workforce, printing on the go has become a necessity. Ricoh HotSpot MFP technology is available on the Aficio MP C2051/MP C2551, allowing mobile users to print from a handheld device or smartphone without extra drivers or software.  In addition, the system also offers print and copy output speeds of 20 and 25 pages-per-minute, respectively, in either full-color or black and white.  Both models have fast first-copy times of 6.4 seconds for black and white, and 9.2 seconds for full-color documents.

Productivity

The Aficio MP C2051/MP C2551 offers a total paper capacity up to 1,600 sheets and accepts a wide variety of paper types and weights.   Adding to its paper handling capabilities is a standard 50-Sheet Automatic Reversing Document Feeder, an optional 500-sheet internal finisher with automatic stapling and optional 2- or 3-hole punching, and an optional envelope feeder tray.

Whether simple or complex, many tasks are made easy with the Aficio MP C2051/MP C2551's intuitive 8.5" full-color LCD display.  Users can access many time-saving features, such as Scan-to-Email, Scan-to-Folder, and Scan-to-FTP.  Workflow is further streamlined with icon-driven, one-click PCL6/PostScript®3(TM) preset user interface drivers, an innovative Mail-to-Print feature that prints PDF or JPEG attachments instantly by sending an email directly to the MFP, and optional Print From/Scan-to-Media which allows users to easily output and capture documents using a USB drive or SD card.

Security

The Aficio MP C2051/MP C2551 offers a great line of defenses in safeguarding both printed and electronic documents.  Sensitive information is protected using the standard DataOverwriteSecurity System (DOSS) that automatically overwrites the hard drive when activated after each job, while standard HDD encryption when activated allows users to protect their data, even if the hard drive is stolen.  Further security measures can be taken with encrypted PDF transmission via Scan-to-Email and Scan-to-Folder, and S/MIME encryption to protect emails from unauthorized network interception.  Additionally, login and IPP passwords are made difficult to compromise with the Scan-to-Webmail feature.

System Management

The Aficio MP C2051/MP C2551 allows companies to set output limits, control costs, and reinforce economical supply usage by assigning amounts of output or color usage on an individual or group level with the Quota Setting feature.  This function helps to manage output, while keeping supply costs low and highly predictable.

Sustainability

The Aficio MP C2051/MP C2551 maintains Ricoh's commitment to environmental sustainability with features such as standard auto duplexing to help lower paper consumption. Additionally, the Aficio MP C2051/MP C2551 offers superior energy efficiency with faster recovery time, which is a requirement of today's fast-paced business environment.  With a short recovery time of less than 10 seconds from sleep mode where it only consumes 1 watt, the Aficio MP C2051/MP C2551 achieves one of the lowest Typical Electricity Consumption (TEC) values in the industry* with 1.00kWh and 1.27kWh, respectively, meeting current ENERGY STAR Imaging Equipment specification (ver. 1.2) with  wide margins.  This is accomplished by an innovative new Color QSU (Quick Start-up) technology with features such as Ricoh's energy-saving PxP(TM) Toner.

Break the Cycle is the nation's leading organization addressing dating abuse with more than 15 years of providing training, education, online resources, advocacy and activism.
