Underscoring the festivities is Bitches Brew, Miles' groundbreaking double-LP of 1969, whose 40th anniversary will be celebrated with two separate retail packages, both released August 31st by Columbia/Legacy, a division of SONY MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT:
-- Bitches Brew: Legacy Edition (a three-disc set, comprising two CDs
that contain the original 94-plus minutes of music, in their original
8-track studio mixes unavailable on CD for many years, plus several
bonus cuts; and a DVD that contains a previously unissued concert
performance by the Miles Davis Quintet filmed in Copenhagen, November
1969); and
-- Bitches Brew: 40th Anniversary Collector's Edition (the same three

In November, Miles' 1959 classic Kind of Blue album will be released in two separate vinyl configurations. Collectors will be able to choose between a standard 180 gram vinyl single LP, or a 2-LP 180 gram set cut at 45 RPM.
In 2010, Legacy's presentation of the music of Miles Davis on record joins a global campaign organized in conjunction with the Miles Davis Estate and Miles Davis Properties LLC in partnership/collaboration with Sony Music. Dominating the cultural landscape is the colossal "We Want Miles: Miles Davis vs. Jazz" historic exhibition of art and memorabilia at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, on view from April 30th through August 29th (following its illustrious run at the Musee de la Musique in Paris from October through January).
The first North American multimedia retrospective exhibition devoted to Miles is divided into eight thematic sections ranging from his childhood in East St. Louis to the final concert of his life, at La Villette in Paris just weeks before his death in 1991. A wide range of exceptional works of art, archival materials, and objects, many of which are on view for the first time, chronicle Miles' impact on the course of jazz, including rare or previously unscreened concert film footage; original musical scores; a selection of his trumpets and fellow band members' musical instruments; original documents relating to his albums; stage costumes; vintage record pressings, and more. 20 listening stations throughout the 8,600 square foot area permit visitors to immerse themselves in the multiple musical currents reinvented by Miles: jazz, rock, funk, and more.

Charter Communications, Inc. Announces Initial Results of Tender Offers and Consent Solicitations for its 8.75% Senior Notes due 2013 and 8.375% Senior Second Lien Notes due 2014

ST. LOUIS, April 28 -- Charter Communications, Inc. (the "Company") announced today that CCO Holdings, LLC ("CCO Holdings") has received and purchased approximately $740.8 million aggregate principal amount of its outstanding 8.75% Senior Notes due 2013 (the "2013 Notes") and Charter Communications Operating, LLC (a subsidiary of CCO Holdings, "Charter Operating" and, together with CCO Holdings, the "Charter Subsidiaries") has received and purchased approximately $677.3 million aggregate principal amount of its outstanding 8.375% Senior Second Lien Notes (the "2014 Notes") validly tendered by 5:00 p.m., Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), on April 27, 2010, which was the deadline for holders to submit tenders in order to receive the consent payments in connection with the tender offers. Charter Communications has received consents from holders of approximately 92.6% of the 2013 Notes and approximately 87.9% of the 2014 Notes as of the consent payment deadline.
The consents are sufficient to effect the proposed amendments to the indenture governing the 2013 Notes and the indenture governing the 2014 Notes as set forth in the applicable Offer to Purchase and Consent Solicitation Statement dated April 14, 2010 and the related Letter of Transmittal and Consent (the "Tender Offer Documents"), pursuant to which the tender offers and the consent solicitations are being made. The proposed amendments will eliminate substantially all of the restrictive covenants and certain default provisions contained in each indenture. The supplemental indentures will be binding on the holders of notes not purchased in the tender offers.
Charter Communications also announced today that it is revising the terms of its tender offers such that holders who tender their notes after the date hereof and prior to the expiration of the tender offer at 11:59 p.m., EDT, on May 12, 2010 (unless extended or earlier terminated by the Company) will receive a tender offer consideration of $1,029.17 for every $1,000 principal amount of 2013 Notes tendered, and a tender offer consideration of $1,027.92 for every $1,000 principal amount of 2014 Notes tendered, plus, in each case, accrued and unpaid interest to, but excluding, the tender offer payment date. As set forth in the Tender Offer Documents, 2013 Notes and 2014 Notes validly tendered may no longer be withdrawn.
Charter Communications is simultaneously announcing that it is irrevocably calling for redemption on May 28, 2010 all 2013 Notes and 2014 Notes that remain outstanding after the expiration of the tender offer, at the redemption price of $1,029.17 for every $1,000 principal amount of 2013 Notes redeemed and at the redemption price of $1,027.92 for every $1,000 principal amount of 2014 Notes redeemed, plus, in each case, accrued and unpaid interest to, but excluding the redemption date. LONDON, April 28, 2010-- David Cameron may be leading the latest voting intentions polls, but
things can be very different in the world of web video clips. RealNetworks,
the online video specialist, asked research company YouGov to take an
alternative approach to the leadership question by asking respondents which
of a series of embarrassing online videos, featuring each of the party
leaders, they would most like to see or see again. Almost twice as many
people wanted to see David Cameron being sneezed on in Hastings (16%), than
either of the incidents involving the other major party leaders
(http://uk.real.com/realplayer/specials/uk-election-2010/).
Perhaps reflecting his remarkable growth in recognition since the first
Prime Ministerial debate, only 6% of those surveyed wanted to see Liberal
Democrat leader Nick Clegg hearing that nobody knows him in the Party's
Romsey constituency during a filmed radio interview. Gordon Brown will be
glad to hear that his 'nasal' incident, apparently picking his nose (you be
the judge) during Prime Minister's Questions, is much less popular than David
Cameron's (7%).
One piece of good news for all three of the major party leaders is that
the largest percentage (24%) of those who expressed a preference most wanted
to see BNP leader Nick Griffin being pelted with eggs outside Parliament.
Hopefully, the large proportion (29%) that didn't express a preference,
doesn't reflect voter apathy but instead points to the proportion of the
population that still find online video a mystery.

BT Delivers Virtual Fitting Rooms to Tommy Hilfiger
Telepresence solution reduces travel time and costs, increases speed-to-market and lowers carbon emissions for leading premium lifestyle brand
EL SEGUNDO, Calif., April 28 -- Leading premium lifestyle brand Tommy Hilfiger, one of the largest designer apparel brands globally, has signed a five-year managed services contract with BT. Under the terms of the agreement, BT will provide a videoconferencing solution which includes the industry's first 'virtual fitting rooms', which the company jointly developed with TANDBERG, now part of the newly formed Cisco TelePresence Technology Group. These rooms enable immediate global "in-person" communication and collaboration among Tommy Hilfiger's designers and manufacturing facilities. The solution connects offices in Amsterdam, New York, Hong Kong and Tokyo, with potentially more units to follow.
The virtual fittings rooms - based upon BT's Unified Communications Video solution coupled with Cisco's TANDBERG technology - include add-ons such as mobile cameras and recording facilities to enable the design team - based in Amsterdam and New York - to collaborate faster and more effectively with the manufacturing team in Hong Kong. Teams will be able to discuss the development of every single piece of the collection face-to-face without having to take long-distance flights.

In a joint implementation with Oasis Communication Technologies,
a system integrator that engages in the design, implementation and
maintenance of highly complex telecommunications systems, Aradial implemented
its RADIUS AAA and policy controller in two sites for disaster recovery, each
running two redundant Aradial servers for business continuity. The servers in
each site run in active/active configuration serving all network elements in
the 012 Smile network.

3D Personal Videos
Roxio Video Lab 3D, a new consumer product from Sonic, allows consumers to edit and burn personal 3D content on standard DVDs; these discs can then be played back on any standard DVD or Blu-ray player connected to 3D-enabled HDTVs or PCs.
