Look like I burned this one up. My Duron 800 has just bit the dust... Ohh well, I guess I'll have to find an Athlon XP now... The cause was that the heatsink was sitting flush with the cpu core. Just a heads up. Back to work now!
And over 35000 hits!! More and more!! Thanks to all who made this possible, and I'm glad that my user base went up over %200 also, even though it isn't on the best of terms...
I do alot of buying and selling online and I'd love to have an integrated buyer and seller rating system. Well, I'll be making that soon!! You must be a registered user of this website to use it, but I plan on making it for all sites... (Like Heatware)
A new project that I'm working on... Since Epox didn't ever email me back, I bought the K7S5A from ECS. I always wanted a SiS 735 board anyway... I'll post some of the pics tomorrow when we get started on it...
I'll be in contact with Epox about their new 8KHA+ motherboard. If I do get a sample of their fine product, and I do know it will be great, I'll purchase an Athlon XP to test it with. I feel so great today. Wish me luck everyone!
I got this email from Comcast about Exite@Home. Here is the email:
Dear Comcast @Home Customer,
On Friday, September 28, Excite@Home, the Internet service provider for Comcast @Home, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection to allow them the opportunity to restructure their financial situation with their creditors.
As you may know, financial restructuring allows companies that have declared bankruptcy to continue to operate their business successfully.
More than five years ago, Comcast committed to the high-speed Internet business by partnering with Excite@Home, and we continue to be committed to providing high quality, reliable service. We are confident that Excite@Home, whose major shareholders include AT&T, Cox and Comcast, will maintain all e-mail and web space services for our customers.
Comcast will continue providing its customers with the best high-speed Internet service both now and in the future. We are doing everything possible to ensure that the 950,000 customers we will serve by year-end will continue to be served well while Excite@Home restructures its financial situation.
Comcast views high-speed Internet as one of the most important products in our portfolio and we remain committed to this business and to our customers.
We thank you for choosing Comcast and look forward to continuing to provide you with the best high-speed Internet service available.
Sincerely,
David JulianoSr. Vice President & General Manager
I'm working on my Ipaq review now, when I get home, I plan on doing 2 more reviews. A Geforce 2 GTS vs a Radeon 64DDR Vivo and a total system shootout based on 2 of my systems.
Time to write the first newsletter for the site. I'll just basically say that the site is on the permanent server now and stuff like that... Look foward to it.
Well, I must say that it was rough getting the site on a remote server but my host finally came through, and what a good deal I'm getting I might add. Welcome to the new ASELabs.com. I'll be advertising the site more now that the site can handle more traffic. Thanks to everyone that made this possible. One more thing, if you catch any errors, post in the forum or email me. I might have missed some pages that required minor edits...
I'm resizing the logo uptop to make it take up less height. This current image isn't resizing that well. The original person that sent it to me had a great design in jpg form. I lost is, but if anyone can recreate something with those colors and no more than 70 pixels high, it'll be really helpful. Thanks.
I plan to add some features to the forum this weekend. (Of course I have to after I do some homework for college ). Features include: Who's online, view user profile page, locking theads at top of forum (Curtesy of Anandtech's forum), mark all PMs as read, 'delete' PMs, forgot password page, attention admin pages. New forums will be added and will have security features such that only an admin can start a thread and such.
Some upgraded site features include: admin verify user news submittions, admin verify editorials, and some other things. For the most recent additions to this list, check the site forum.
While I feel really bad, life must go on. No one will forget what happened yesterday, and they shouldn't.
I am making mobile pages for some area of the site. Some areas are: home page, ratings, user editorials, news, and forums. The forum will be very limited in functionality, but it will have pms and posting available...
I keep looking at the smoke and I can't stop crying. I don't know if my mom went to NYC also. I spoke to my father and he said he doesn't know. I can't reach many people because the phones are very very bad now. I hope that this chaos will end soon.
I'm at college and I wake up to see a huge plum of smoke. This is a terrible day for me and for the entire country. I hope everyone mourns for the people that were killed and that swift painful action is taken to the people that caused this damage. I personally have a few ideas who was behind this but I won't say it.
