Leading Chinese VR Developer Deepoon Made Big Scene Multi-player Mobile VR Interaction Real
SHANGHAI, Aug. 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --
The Virtual Reality Gaming World Grows Social
Not long after China Joy (China Digital Entertainment Expo & Conference ) ended, Deepoon VR announced that it signed a strategic cooperative agreement with another Chinese VR developer G-wearables to achieve a win-win situation based on joint effort and through cooperation of software, hardware and content.
The sense of immersion in VR games not only has visual requirements but also offers behavioral liberation to players. Space positioning technology is crucial in VR gaming. It prevents players from developing a spinning sensation because of asynchronous images when they move in the VR world.
The latest investigation data from the online PC gaming platform Steam indicates that HTC Vive users have occupied 0.15% of all users on Steam, while the occupancy of users of Oculus Rift is only 0.06%. Perhaps most VR developers have the 2 billion U.S. dollar deal from two years ago between Facebook and Oculus to thank, but regretfully, Oculus Rift has not gained as many users as it expected. HTC Vive leads in product experience and it is fair to say that it attributes great interaction gaming experience to the Lighthouse space positioning system. Meanwhile, how to actualize the mobile VR space positioning technology truly haunts all these mobile VR headset manufacturers.
John Carmack, CTO of Oculus, indicated this February that he himself was studying space positioning technology for Gear VR. The Unpacked launch event of Samsung in early morning of August 3rd introduced its new cellphone model Galaxy Note 7 and the new version of Gear VR. Sadly, there is still no news about Gear VR's mobile space positioning system. Who could imagine that this problem is solved recently in China!
The Mobile Space Positioning Technology that Gear VR "Could not Handle"
The reason why Gear VR could not solve in developing mobile space positioning technology is that mobile phones are limited by their high power consumption and the sensors. Google already brought this up on this year's Google I/O when it launched its Daydream VR platform, expecting all cellphones that support Daydream should meet certain standards on their sensors, performance and screens. Industry sources say that a mobile VR integrated device is preferred, because no matter which aspect is concerned, heat radiation, power consumption or sensors, it has a freer space for hardware configuration. Deepoon VR launched a co-developed mobile VR space positioning system with G-Wearable at the Connect Eco-strategy Conference this May. The said product combination will soon be released to the market.
A VR offline experience store owner mentioned that it was important for offline experience store to save time that was spent on equipment adjusting and on helping the customer to put on and take off the headset. The VR headset offered good experience from a personal computer, but it took too much time adjusting the equipment, he added, "The store assistant usually took about 10 minutes to adjust the headset for the customer, which was a time waster and also ended in customers becoming impatient". This March Deepoon VR took the lead in launching a VR integrated model for mass-production, which has deeply stimulated the market on the business end. According to the official data, till mid-May, there has been more than 20 thousand orders on this model, from both domestic and oversea market.
The integrated VR model is a highly integrated independent model, with its separate screen display system, processing unit, power system, interaction system and sensor system. The independent VR device has manifested its advantages in the big scene mobile positioning system. It doesn't need a matching cellphone like Samsung Gear VR, which is proved to be limited by the cellphone's performance and power consumption, nor does it need to connect to a PC, like HTC vive or Oculus Rift. Even though G-Wearable launched Step VR, a backpack model, it is still too much "burden" to customers. Some may mention the split model which was a fleeting show whose attached game handle was widely criticized. Instead of trading one defect for another, what customers truly want is a VR device more and more simplified and condensed with all functions.
A VR section chief of an educational business in Beijing said that the cost was the main issue companies would consider and for a big scene multi-player interaction experience, it was too much to use HTC Vive, whose cost for an individual player alone was already more than 10 thousand RMB. Even if the Integrated VR model was slightly less satisfying in customer experience than a PC end VR headset, its cost was reduced by several times and it was able to meet most customers' needs.
Laser+INS - the Key to Multi-player Interaction
The said mobile big scene positioning technology that G-Wearable has adapted to Deepoon integrated VR model is based on laser positioning technology. The highly steady laser transmitting base station actualized indoor positioning of unlimited scene and of unlimited players. As the sole application of laser technology brought up a huge problem that it is easy to lose track when one player blocks another's light source when multiple players are involved. Dr. Guo Cheng, founder of G-Wearable introduces, the said mobile VR positioning system is a hybrid system, which uses laser to get an absolute fix, and also has inertial navigation to help with a relative localization, thus allows a precise localization even when the laser light source is blocked during a multiple player interaction.
The media people of VR business analyzed that currently the mobile VR space positioning technology was only available in Business end market, because the need for vast room and the huge cost was too much for individual customers. Zhang Li, CSO of Deepoon VR indicated that with the main purpose of the said system was to help meet the VR related needs of offline experience stores and other businesses, the system was more suitable for business customers for now.
Where lies the limit of room and space
Multiple laser transmitting stations need to be set up when the positioning system is applied. The system locates the target through active luminescence of these stations. Each station contains two completely orthogonal ultra-high precision motors, which have a sync deviation no more than 0.02 degrees and drive the 830 nanometer of laser to scan the targeted space. The frame rate of data update is as high as 240 Hz. All the above has enabled a precise localization. All a tester needs is an integrated VR model to move freely inside the targeted space and each point will be positioned automatically with a deviation within 1mm. Industry insiders say that Deepoon VR's mobile VR space positioning system has solved the conundrum of the impossibility of expanding that the traditional laser positioning technology was facing.
What is the theory behind mobile space positioning?
Specifically, the said positioning technology localizes a moving subject by laser and light sensors. First of all, multiple laser transmitting stations are set up in the targeted space. The number of laser stations depends on the size of targeted space and the specific localizing needs. There are two scanning modules designed in the laser station, one vertical, the other horizontal, scanning and localizing by transmitting laser into the targeted space from both directions in term. Multiple light sensors are attached to the subject. The system starts timing when the laser starts to scan and there will be a time lapse when light sensors get the laser. From both directions, we will get two time lapses, based on which we will get the angles between each sensor and its starting position on both directions. Furtherly, we can confirm the line which connects each light sensor and the related laser transmitter. Finally we can calculate the position of each sensor based on its geometrical relation with other sensors.
What is the value of mobile VR space positioning technology?
Guo Cheng, CEO of G-wearables indicated that mobile VR space positioning technology had great applied value in entertainment, tourism and education. The big space and high precision indoor positioning technology was capable of supporting multiple players in the same room in which users could see each other, could collaborate on their tasks and exchange their props. Thus an interaction happened in virtual reality among people and things. Gaming was still the main area VR was applied so far. Developers could develop VR games for multiple players interacting in the same room using the back-end development tools of this system. Then why should we say this system applied only in business end of market? Gaming application considered, multi-player interacting in the same room fit the offline experience of the gaming business. The popularity of competitive games explained such a trend. With this technology filling in the blank, it would have enormous impact on offline VR experience market.
Just as an oversea VR game developer said, as long as the hardware technology allowed, VR technology should soon have richer contents! The mobile VR space positioning technology developed by G-Wearable and Deepoon VR has completely changed the way how VR players could only play from a fixed position and has created unlimited room for the future development of big space multi-player mobile VR gaming.

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Aug. 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Kalray, a leading provider of acceleration solutions for data centers, will demonstrate a complete NVMeOF (Non-Volatile Memory express over Fabrics) chain from compute node to remote NVMe SSDs with SK Hynix, a leading manufacturer of DRAM, flash memory and SSDs, at the Flash Memory Summit. The remote storage system will be built around 13 SKHMS M.2 PCIe Carriers integrating 4 SKHMS PE3110 SSDs each and 6 Kalray smartNIC KONIC-80 equipped with Kalray's MPPA2(®)-256 "Bostan" High Speed I/O Processor. The Flash Memory Summit is taking place at the Santa Clara Convention Center, in Santa Clara, Calif., from August 8-11. SK Hynix and Kalray will be exhibiting respectively at booth #107 and #908.
Data center storage is going through a major disruption with the massive introduction of SSDs, which have much lower latency than HDDs. SSD usage is putting tremendous pressure on the system to drastically decrease the latency in the transport of data, as well as in the controller itself. The NVMe protocol has been developed to take advantage of the random access property of SSDs and is already well established. The second step is to introduce, before the end of the year, innovative solutions based on the NVMeOF protocol, which carries NVMe commands and data over Ethernet using RDMA protocol (Remote Direct Memory Access) such as RoCEv2 (RDMA over Converged Ethernet).
"We have ported the RoCEv2 protocol from our partner 6WIND on our SmartNIC, the KONIC80, recently introduced in the market, which makes it, with the addition of the NVMe Direct capability already available, an ideal solution for remote low latency SSD storage," said Eric Baissus, Kalray's CEO.
"This demonstration is a major step toward the goal of introducing NVMeOF solutions as soon as possible by demonstrating a full NVMeOF chain from initiator down to SSD going through Ethernet with the active collaboration of two major players in this market," said Vice President SooHwan Choi, Head of the NAND Product Planning Office at SK Hynix.
SK Hynix's 1TB NVMe enterprise SSD is based on its own 2nd generation 3D NAND Flash and in-house controller. This cutting-edge 3D NAND based NVMe SSD supports PCIe Gen 3x4 lanes, providing higher bandwidth and lower latency to process data far quicker than SATA SSDs. Presented in a M.2 form factor, the product is ideal for open cloud servers and in compliance with OCS (Open Cloud Server) v2.1. In addition, since most of the datacenter servers presented lately by OCP (Open Compute Project) have installed PCIe NVMe SSDs, the importance of NVMe SSDs in the market is expected to increase gradually. The SSD operates at 1700MB/s with 750MB/s of sequential read/write and runs a random read/write at 160,000 IOPS and 30,000 IOPS.
Kalray's unique industry solutions deliver these SmartNIC storage functions at sub-30W power consumption, while having the capability to simultaneously implement any type of processing required in storage applications, such as logical volume management, deduplication, encryption, compression and erasure coding - all in standard C/C++ software.
The company is planning to introduce a complete family of NVMeOF storage solutions including a SmartNIC with NVMe Direct capability but also an integrated low cost NVMe SSD controller capable of 3.2 MIOPS @ 4Kb data at 10µs latency, by the end of the year. These unique solutions can be found installed in data centers as early as Q1, 2017.
The solutions are all powered by Kalray's MPPA2(®)-256 "Bostan" High Speed I/O Processor, which has a powerful architecture by connecting high speed I/O interfaces such as 2 x 40GbE and 2 x 8-lanes PCIe Gen3 directly to a large matrix of 256 computing cores, 16 system cores, 16 master cores all C/C++ programmable and 128 crypto co-processors.

New PCIe Card Drastically Accelerates Storage Computation Pipeline
SANTA CLARA, Calif., Aug. 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Kalray Inc., provider of data center infrastructure accelerator solutions for storage and networking, today announced in conjunction with the Flash Memory Summit, general availability of the Krypto128, a programmable acceleration card based on "Bostan," its 2(nd) generation MPPA® high-speed I/O processor. The Flash Memory Summit is taking place at the Santa Clara Convention Center, in Santa Clara, Calif., from August 8-11. Kalray will be exhibiting at booth #908.
The Bostan processor combines high computing performance with real-time processing and low power consumption, which makes it an ideal solution for data center infrastructure acceleration. In general, other vendors offer hardware solutions based on ASIC technology to accelerate functions such as encryption. Kalray has been able to reach the same levels of performance with a C/C++ programmable solution, giving customers more flexibility.
Kalray will target two main markets with its Krypto128 card. The first market concerns storage computation pipelines, which include algorithms such as compression, encryption, erasure coding and integrity checks. This computation pipeline can be found at several places in the data center, either in the main server, if SSDs are attached to it, or in the storage proxy I/O server - or even in the all-flash array cabinet storage server. In any of these cases, this suite of computation on the data before writing or after reading to or from the SSDs requires numerous cycles of the main processor and can be offloaded easily on the Krypto128 PCIe card.
Kalray has customer use cases in which a Krypto128 card can offload and replace up to 8 Intel Xeon E5 2630v3 @2.4Ghz when implementing a Lz4 compression, an AES128 encryption, an erasure coding (8 to 10) and a CRC 32 bits on 4K block of data, resulting in a significant 3 x system cost reduction.
Kalray's solution is fully programmable (C/C++) enabling customers to benefit from a wide choice of algorithms (AES256/126... Sha256/128... CRC32...) and from the flexibility to determine the order of execution of the computation pipeline. Depending on which algorithm is implemented, performance of up to 60Gbits of bandwidth can be achieved.
"Kalray is fully committed to offering solutions to our customers that help them to quickly introduce SSD technology, with all its latency benefits, into their data center," said Eric Baissus, CEO of Kalray. "And, more importantly, this gives them the possibility to scale up the technology in a cost effective manner."
The second market targeted by the Krypto128 concerns IPsec and OpenSSL transparent acceleration into VPN routers or secure gateways. These are commonly found in the network between, for instance, a private enterprise data center located at the customer premises and a remote public cloud where the customer may rent some hardware services. Performance in these use cases is phenomenal and can go up to 120Gbits of bandwidth.
Kalray provides all the basic software modules required to implement those functions. Communication between the main server and the Krypto128 card is mainly based on the standard socket API with an AF_ALG extension interfacing with MPPA specialized engines, which in turn enables transparent acceleration for either the storage computation pipeline or OpenSSL and IPsec stack. Kalray also offers all software acceleration engines implemented on the MPPA high-speed I/O processor, from crypto, Sha, CRC and compression, to erasure coding. In addition, the customer is able to customize and add new features.
Product Highlights
Krypto128 is a single width, full height, half-length PCIe programmable card. It supports 16 lanes Gen3 PCIe and typically consumes 25W.
At the heart of the Krypto128 card is the Bostan processor, which is the first manycore processor to integrate up to 288 C/C++ programmable CPU cores and 128 crypto co-processors with a fully deterministic and real-time architecture.

Superior TV Viewing Experience, Amazing Sound Output and Never Seen Before Content
Will be Key Pillars for LeEco TV StrategyÂ
LeEco the global internet and ecosystem conglomerate plans to completely shake up the
TV market through their recently launched SuperTVs: Super3 MAX65, Super3 X65 and Super3
X55, which will truly disrupt how Indians watch TV.
LeEco successfully disrupted the smartphone market in India with the launch of its
Superphones and now once again it is set to rewrite the rules of the TV segment. This is
because of the global conglomerate's ecosystem business model which allows it the luxury
of offering top-of-the-line devices at disruptive prices. Unlike any other smartphone or
TV manufacturer, LeEco's objective is not to earn profit by selling its hardware but
through its unique and engaging content.
LeEco is known to offer futuristic devices at a disruptive pricing. This is also true
for the new range of Super TVs that the company has come out with. Super3 X55 - 139.7 cm
(55) will be available for Rs (price [http://www.lemall.com/in/product/x355.html ]), LeEco
Super3 X65 - 163.9 cm (65) is priced at Rs (price
[http://www.lemall.com/in/product/x365.html ]) and Super3 Max65- 163.9 cm (65) will come
at a price of Rs (Price [http://www.lemall.com/in/product/max65.html ]). What's more is
that, all three Super TVs come with 2 years of VIP membership.
On the content front too, LeEco is all set to bring in a big disruption. With its
Super TV, users will get access to about 2000 Full HD/HD films from Hollywood and
Bollywood, more than 100 satellite TV channels, 3.5 million songs (coming soon by software
upgrade), and more than 50 live concerts. Popular games too will be soon making their way
for LeEco to expand its offerings right from entertainment to gaming.
All the three SuperTVs from LeEco offer superior viewing experience to the consumers.
They all come with 4K panel with 8.29 million pixels in a 3840 x 2160 resolution format,
making sure that the pictures come alive on this TV. With as many as 14 core display
technologies, including state-of-the-art ones, all SuperTVs ensure fast versatile decoding
and a crystal-clear viewing experience.
LeEco's exemplary 3D Model - Super3 Max65 - is the unmatched flagship and will
certainly add a new dimension to 3D experience on TVs. In addition to this, it comes with
a polarized 3D feature that eliminates the major discomforts associated with 3D content
viewing such as blurring and dizziness.
At the heart of these TVs is the eUI5.5 user interface. The Ecosystem UI brings with
it the option of customization that shows different apps depending on the frequency of
use. The TVs are equipped with LeEco's self-developed and renowned content-viewing apps
such as Levidi, LIVE, LeView along with other tailor-made apps like Panosearch. LeEco
offers breakthrough experiences through an open, integrated ecosystem enabled by its
Internet and cloud platform.
The next disruption that LeEco is offering via its Super TV is in the design arena.
All the three TVs come with a strong all-metal body and the use of the sophisticated
monochromatic anodized wire drawing metalworking process makes the products exude class.
The product build and design is a simple, integrated concept which uses eco-friendly metal
material. The TVs come with a narrow bezel and slim body exuding elegance and
sophistication. The Super3 MAX 65 flaunts a narrow bezel of 8.9mm, Super3 X65 has 13.0mm
and Super3 X55 has 6.9mm bezel.
Accompanying these state of the art TVs is a breakthrough remote -Â Super Remote 3,
which comes with four-direction navigation buttons. This gyro sensor remote can also be
used as an air mouse or gamepad to control multiple devices connected to the TV screen for
a super experience.
These Super TVs even excel in the audio segment. All the three Super TVs are equipped
with Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, and DTS-HD premium sound technologies.
In the after sales department, LeEco is again making a disruptive offer. While one
year is the industry standard for a new television warranty, LeEco is offering double of
that on its Super3 Series, which comes with a 2-years product warranty. LeEco understands
that the most important, critical & expensive component is the panel. Therefore, the LeEco
Super3 Series currently carries 2 Years additional warranty on panel, this way the panel
will be covered for complete 4 years, while the industry standard for panel warranty is
just 1-2 years.
LeEco Super TVs will go on pre-sale from 10th to 12th August and will be available on
LeMall and Flipkart. Offers on the two platforms include cash back with HDFC bank card,
EMI option and more exciting ones.

LeEco's exemplary 3D Model - Super3 Max65is the unmatched flagship and will certainly
add a new dimension to 3D experience on TVs. Its polarized 3D feature will eliminate the
major discomforts such as blurring and dizziness, which users usually face while watching
3D content. The 3D glasses that LeEco's Super3 Max65 comes with, are of superior quality,
eliminating the viewer discomfort and enhancing the overall user experience of 3D
consumption.

At the centre of these Super TVs is LeEco' eUI5.5 user interface, which is at the
heart of LeEco's product development philosophy. The Ecosystem UI brings with it the
option of customization that shows different apps depending on the frequency of use. The
TVs are equipped with LeEco's self-developed and renowned content-viewing apps such as
Levidi, LIVE, LeView along with other tailor-made apps like Panosearch.
Making the user experience all the more comprehensible is LeEco's Super Remote Control
3.0, which is the handiest and smartest remote in the market. The four-direction
navigation buttons help users easily access different applications and functions. Users
can also use it as an air mouse or gamepad to control multiple devices connected to the
Super TV. Furthermore, users can also grab their LeEco Superphones and point to the Super
TVs to surf to whichever channel they want.
Perfectly complementing the Super TVs is the Yoga Stand that comes free of cost with
them. The unique curvaceous stand contrasts well with the straight-line design of the TV
set. It is distinctive, high-quality, and aesthetically pleasing, allowing the TV to be
placed both firmly and beautifully.
LeEco Supertainment membership extends to bigger screensÂ
LeEco Super TVs will change the way users consume content on televisions. All three
Super TVs will give access to one of the largest content libraries in India. Users can
enjoy at least 2000 Full HD/HD films from Hollywood and Bollywood, more than 100 satellite
TV channels, 3.5 million songs (coming soon by software upgrade), and more than 50 live
concerts.
With Super TVs, users will also get access to a cloud storage space of 5TB with strict
privacy protection so users can store pictures capturing memorable moments on the cloud
and share them conveniently with family and friends.
Better than industry standard warranty and after-sales servicesÂ
After-sales service of TVs is another pain-point for users as most products generally
have a rather short warranty period. Once the TV hits its warranty, repairing becomes a
frequent and difficult task. While one year is the industry standard for a new television
warranty, LeEco doubles the industry standard by providing Super3 Series a 2-year product
warranty. LeEco understands that the most easily damaged and expensive TV component is the
panel. Therefore, the LeEco Super3 Series' standard panel warranty will cover users for a
full 4 years, while the industry standard for panel warranty is just 1-2 years.
LeEco's large after-sales service network in India with over 333 outlets at convenient
locations is another advantage for users. Additionally, users will have access to a 24x7
call centre, offering services in nine languages.
Commenting on the launch Sandeep Karwa, Head - TVs & Large Appliances, Flipkart, said,
"Our journey with LeEco has been remarkable. It traces back a blockbuster beginning for
LeEco's debut in India on Flipkart. We are confident that the new TV series from the
stable of LeEco will be a big hit too." Â
He added, "It is our constant endeavour to identify quality products that can be made
available at affordable prices. Known for superior technology and designs, LeEco's smart
range of televisions will disrupt the TV market in India through Flipkart."

La Roche-Posay Launches The First Ever Wearable Skin Sensor
TRACKS UV RAYS IN REAL-TIME
NEW YORK, Aug. 4, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- La Roche-Posay, a worldwide expert in ultraviolet protection, is launching a revolutionary device combining high-tech and skin wellness - My UV Patch, the first-ever stretchable skin sensor is designed to monitor UV radiation in real-time to further educate the public about their personal sun exposure. My UV Patch factors in skin tone to measure exposure to the sun. To complete the process, users can download the My UV Patch mobile app (available both on iOS and Android) to track UV exposure and inform users of their level of sun exposure. My UV Patch will be available free of charge via La Roche-Posay's website and key physicians, which will be listed on the website, this summer.
My UV Patch is small, yet powerful. Designed to help educate users on their daily sun exposure, the water and sweat-resistant patch can be used up to three days during all outdoor activities, including swimming. The transparent adhesive measures approximately one square inch and 50 micrometers thick - half the thickness of an average strand of hair - and unlike the rigid wearables currently on the market, stretches and adheres directly to skin. The patch is designed with photosensitive dyes that factor in the user's unique skin tone. Once exposed to UV rays, the patch will begin to change colors, indicating the various levels of sun exposure.
Taking it one step further, the La Roche-Posay My UV Patch mobile app will be able to track results and provide a personalized report on the UV exposure received once the consumer uploads an image of his or her patch. It analyzes the varying shades of the photosensitive dye and determines the amount of exposure the individual has received since the moment it was put on. This analysis takes into consideration not only the information registered by the patch, but also skin type, if sunscreen was applied or not, and the UV index in the user's location.
"Together with La Roche-Posay dermatologists like myself, we share a mission to help increase sun aware behavior," added Alysa Herman, MD. "La Roche-Posay recently commissioned a global study, which surveyed 19,000 women and men and found a huge gap in consumer behavior: even though 92% were aware that unprotected sun exposure can cause health problems, only 26% of Americans protect themselves all year round, whatever the season. With the new My UV Patch, for the first time, we are leveraging technology to help individuals manage their sun exposure behavior through real-time knowledge."
Very active in her field, Dr. Herman is a member of the teaching faculty in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Miami School of Medicine, and also a member and serves on academic committees for many national medical organizations.
About LA ROCHE-POSAY and ANTHELIOS
Recommended by more than 25,000 dermatologists worldwide, La Roche-Posay offers a unique range of daily skincare developed with dermatologists to meet their standards in efficacy, tolerance and elegant textures for increased compliance. The products, which are developed using a strict formulation charter, include a minimal number of ingredients to reduce side effects and reactivity and are formulated with active ingredients at optimal concentrations for increased efficacy. NeoBear to Launch AR Globe, the Latest Augmented Reality Toy for Children
SHANGHAI, Aug. 4, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- NeoBear, a creative science and technology brand for children and pioneer in the Chinese AR industry, recently announced that its latest augmented reality (AR) educational toy for children, AR Globe, will be launched in mid-August this year.
Using a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet, children are able to see various aspects of the planet on the AR Globe, including territories, buildings, animals and natural disasters in all of the countries around the world, bridging the gap between reality and virtual reality.
Young minds are also able to experience what goes on in the broader solar system, such as the revolutions of the eight planets. Whereas traditional globes are defined as scientific and educational tools, AR Globe makes the way children perceive the world more interesting.
NeoBear's AR Globe adopts the world's leading spherical recognition and tracking technology together with 3D rendering, allowing children to learn about the entire world visually and three-dimensionally.
Such a high-tech multi-purpose globe subverts the cognitive pattern of traditional globes to help young learners easily master mass knowledge of astronomy and geography, and AR interaction, 3D animation, human voice narration and all-dimensional multi-sensory interactive learning facilitate mental development of children at a growth stage, assist cultivation and development of their key competences including creative powers, exploration abilities and attention span.
With the increase in average household income and the change of budget and financial priorities, the maternity, infant and children's products market in China has entered a phase of rapid growth. Now, thanks to the application of augmented reality (AR) in early educational toys, the market has become more diversified which is improving consumer interest.
Statistics show that there are over 100 million 0-6 year olds in China, and early market size has exceeded RMB200 billion (USD30 billion). However, most AR toys still remain at a simple and preliminary stage of card recognition and coloring at present.
Due to rapid development of market and upgrading of both consumer demands and philosophies, NeoBear, and its parent company YoungZone Culture (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. has identified that technical improvement in AR toys is urgently required so as to further promote upgrading of an industrial structure.
AR Globe fulfills the expansion of AR at the application level, breaking industry constraints and leading the growth of early education industry in China and beyond.

Typhoon H is equipped with six rotors and a 360-degree gimbal, which allows unlimited panning for breathtaking 4K videos and 12 megapixel stills with the all-new CGO3+ camera. In addition, the landing gear retracts during flight to seamlessly remove itself from the shot for unobstructed views. Typhoon H also has a variety of flight and image capturing modes, including Point of Interest, Orbit Me, Watch Me, Follow Me, Curve Cable Cam, Journey Mode, and Team Mode for film and photography teams. Innovative new safety features include ultrasonic proximity detection to assist in avoiding large obstacles and a six-rotor safety failsafe system, which allows Typhoon H to remain stable and land if a motor should fail.
Yuneec also offers the Typhoon H Pro package, which includes Intel® RealSense(TM) Technology. The Intel RealSense R200 Camera and the quad core Intel® Atom(TM) processor module work seamlessly with the flight control firmware to add intelligent obstacle navigation. With a combination of specialized cameras and sensors, this system recognizes each obstacle in its path and creates a 3D view of its environment, which it maps and learns in real time. It then plans an alternate route and safely navigates around obstacles. This is a major advancement over ultra-sonic collision prevention, which automatically stops Typhoon H short of obstacles, but cannot model the environment or intelligently reroute around obstacles. The module also adds downward facing sensors to improve stability, enabling flight indoors or outdoors close to the ground, even with poor GPS reception.
The Tornado H920 is a professional multirotor aerial photography and videography platform. It is compatible with two camera options: the industry standard Panasonic GH4 and Yuneec's CGO4 gimbal camera. The H920 features landing gear that retracts during flight to seamlessly remove itself from the shot for unobstructed views, is equipped with GPS positioning, compass orientation, and pressure sensor lock altitude, and can handle a payload up to five kilograms.

Nucleus Announces the Availability of Its Anywhere Intercom with Alexa Voice Service, Making it the First Alexa-Enabled Touchscreen Device
Available now for purchase in select Lowe's stores nationwide and on Amazon.com
NEW YORK, Aug. 4, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Nucleus, the connected home intercom system, today announced the general availability of its device with Alexa Voice Service (AVS) integration. Nucleus makes it easy to stay connected to the home and family from a distance and the inclusion of Alexa expands its capabilities with the power of voice. Beginning today, Nucleus devices are available for purchase on Amazon.com and in select Lowe's stores nationwide, and online at Lowes.com.
Nucleus is a family-friendly touchscreen device that creates an on-the-spot point of communication for natural audio and video conversations in the home, between homes, or with any mobile device. The company launched in 2014 with the mission to radically improve the traditional home intercom system, both with innovative technology and a simple plug-and-play installation process.
"I created Nucleus because I know life can be hectic. As a father of three, there's tremendous value in having access to my home and family when I can't physically be there," said Jonathan Frankel, co-founder and CEO of Nucleus. "Traditional intercom systems are outdated, expensive, and hard to install - and video chat services like Skype are tricky for some to maneuver. But with Nucleus, my family is there when I need them at the tap of a button. And now with Alexa, there's even more value for parents, like adding groceries to a shopping list or checking on the weather when their hands are tied."
At its core, Nucleus is engineered for secure, instant, and simple communication to help busy families find more time to interact with loved ones. Users have full control of how Nucleus receives incoming calls with options for auto-answer, touch-to-answer, do not disturb, and more.
With Alexa, families can take advantage of a number of voice-enabled features including music from Prime Music, iHeartRadio and TuneIn, access to a myriad of information and an ever growing assortment of Alexa skills. It's as simple as saying, "Alexa, what's the weather" or "Alexa, add milk to my grocery list."
"Integrating Alexa into Nucleus was a natural fit," said Steve Rabuchin, Vice President, Amazon Alexa. "Voice and the Alexa services provide an easy way for families to stay organized, manage their busy lives and have fun. We opened up the AVS to device makers and developers for free and it's exciting to see Nucleus take advantage of the service and bring their innovative technology into homes."
In January 2016, Nucleus was chosen to join the Amazon Launchpad program, an initiative that spotlights cutting-edge products from startups to millions of Amazon customers worldwide. In the same month, Nucleus also announced its national partnership with Lowe's.
"We are committed to offering customers innovative smart home product solutions," said Jeff Raynes, Lowe's Merchandising Director of Smart Home and Security. "Nucleus provides Lowe's consumers with a seamless solution to instantly communicate with family members and have a deeper relationship with their homes by interacting via voice commands to control other devices, play music or simply check the weather."

Club Empire Gets the First Letter of Intent (LOI) for Nagaland Skill Gaming License
KOHIMA, India, August 4, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --
The Government of Nagaland within the ambit of Nagaland Prohibition of Gambling and
Promotion and Regulation of Games of Skill Rules Act 2016 has issued the first Letter of
Intent (LOI) to Club Empire, which is a Kolkata-based gaming start-up.Â
The Letter of Intent/provisional license is issued under sub rule (6) of rule (4) of
the Nagaland Prohibition of Gambling and Promotion and Regulation of Games of Skill Rules
2016, issued by the Directorate of State Lotteries, Government of Nagaland, Kohima.
http://www.clubempire.in [http://www.clubempire.in ] Â will shorty launch additional games
within the purview of this act. Established by young gaming enthusiasts, Luv Kalra and
Swapnil Chaturvedi, Club Empire has made quite a dent in a short span of time in the
ever-growing skill gaming domain in India. The first product that Club Empire launched in
online gaming is 13-card Indian rummy. Since the game of Rummy is mainly and predominantly
a game of skill, it has been clearly exempted from the ambit of gambling by The Supreme
Court of India. Rummy holds an eminent role in Indian families. It is very popular
particularly in South India. The traditional game of Rummy is really interesting and the
online version is beyond expectation. The company offers three different variants of Rummy
- Points/101, Pool/201 and Pool Rummy along with different types of promotions and free
rolls. The company is exploring strategic partnerships with national and international
businesses to assimilate innovative games to enthuse and engage Indian players. Club
Empire wants a long term presence in a regulatory framework and getting the Nagaland Skill
Gaming License is its first step. Being a licensed operator, Club Empire will make poker,
binary, e-sports and virtual sports available to Indian gamers.Â
This would definitely up the ante for other players in the market and create a mature
and sustainable gaming regime going forward. Surely www.clubempire.in

revolutionary service; the take-up rate at Licensing Expo was 50% higher than in any other
industry currently using the tool. In fact, 90% of exhibiting companies engaged with it,
and we are delighted to now offer this opportunity to the European market. Users told us
that the portal made their time at the show more efficient, opened up a network of new
contacts, and generated substantial amounts of new business. We would encourage anyone
attending BLE to sign up today."
Following his experience at Licensing Expo, John Larson, Director at IMG Worldwide
