AT&T Hiring for More Than 130 Job Openings in Connecticut

Job Fair Focuses on AT&T's Growth Areas of U-verse and Wireless

HARTFORD, Conn., April 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, AT&T* announced it will host a job fair this week in Hartford to help fill more than 130 open positions in Connecticut. These new jobs, including both management and technical positions, are a direct result of the continued expansion of AT&T's growing wireless and U-verse business segments. In fact, as announced late last month, AT&T invested more than $750 million in its Connecticut wireless and wireline networks from 2008 through 2010.

Open positions include, but are not limited to: installation technicians for AT&T's U-verse television and high-speed Internet service, retail sales and sales management, network repair technicians, door-to-door sales, and service representatives. The majority of the positions are union-represented and all offer competitive wages and benefits.

(National Space Symposium, Booth 400) - Harris Corporation (NYSE: HRS), an international communications and information technology company, today introduced an unfurlable space antenna designed to support emerging requirements for high-throughput Ka-band satellites.

The new Harris Ka-band antenna greatly increases the gain and potential spot beams currently available to spacecraft manufacturers and service providers.  The increased frequency reuse provided by the additional spot beams enables higher data rates required by providers of bandwidth-hungry services such as satellite Internet, HDTV and 3D TV, and by businesses that transfer large amounts of data between remote locations, such as oil and gas companies and maritime users.

The antenna features flight-proven design elements that have been refined during development and production for US government and commercial programs, including the application of reflective mesh, surface-shaping technology and thermally stable materials.  The antenna's architecture leverages Harris' robust radial rib structure reflector design, 40 of which are currently in operation.  The projected aperture ranges from 3.5 meters to 8 meters in diameter, with a compact stowed configuration suitable for most launch vehicles.

During launch, the Harris reflectors are stowed onboard the satellite much like an umbrella.  Once in orbit, controllers execute a series of maneuvers, and then send commands to deploy an articulating boom and unfurl the reflector.

New Unit to Drive 'Everything-as-a-Service' Global Cloud Strategy

NEW YORK, April 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ --Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE, NASDAQ: VZ) today closed its previously announced acquisition of Terremark Worldwide, Inc., clearing the way for Verizon to lead the rapidly evolving global managed IT infrastructure and cloud services market. 

The acquisition was completed via a short-form merger under Delaware law; therefore, no Terremark shareholder vote was required.  Terremark will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Verizon.

As a result of the merger, all outstanding shares of Terremark that were not tendered into the previously completed tender offer (except for shares held in the treasury of Terremark or by Verizon or Verizon Holdings, or shares for which appraisal rights are properly demanded) were converted into the right to receive $19 per share in cash without interest and subject to any required withholding of taxes, the same consideration paid to stockholders in the tender offer. 

With the closing of the transaction, Terremark's common stock will cease trading on NASDAQ as of market close on April 11, 2011, and will no longer be listed on NASDAQ.

Unisys Corporation Announces Expiration of Tender Offer for Certain Outstanding Notes

BLUE BELL, Pa., April 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) announced today that its tender offer for its outstanding 14 1/4% Senior Secured Notes due 2015 (the "First Priority Notes") and 12 3/4% Senior Secured Notes due 2014 (the "Second Priority Notes" and together with the First Priority Notes, the "Notes") expired at 5:00 P.M., New York City time, on April 8, 2011.

Holders validly tendered $134,798,000 in aggregate principal amount of the First Priority Notes and $191,033,000 in aggregate principal amount of the Second Priority Notes. In accordance with the terms of the tender offer, the company has accepted for purchase all of the First Priority Notes validly tendered (and not validly withdrawn) and $44,066,000 in aggregate principal amount of the Second Priority Notes validly tendered (and not validly withdrawn). Because the consideration payable for the aggregate principal amount of Notes validly tendered (and not validly withdrawn) exceeded the maximum payment amount of $220 million, the company accepted the Second Priority Notes for purchase from tendering holders on a pro rata basis, using a proration factor of approximately 23.1%. The company expects to make payment today, April 11, 2011, for the Notes accepted for purchase. The complete terms and conditions of the tender offer are described in the Offer to Purchase, dated February 22, 2011, and the related letter of transmittal.

As previously announced, the company also recently redeemed $86.3 million in aggregate principal amount of the First Priority Notes and $124.7 million in aggregate principal amount of the Second Priority Notes, using the proceeds from the sale of 2,587,500 shares of its 6.25% Mandatory Convertible Preferred Stock, Series A, at an initial liquidation preference of $100 per share (the "Mandatory Convertible Preferred Stock"). The annualized dividend on the Mandatory Convertible Preferred Stock will be approximately $16 million until the mandatory conversion date of March 1, 2014. An aggregate principal amount of $25.5 million of the First Priority Notes and an aggregate principal amount of $206.2 million of the Second Priority Notes remain outstanding.

Meeting the Fast Ramp-up to Higher Transmission Quality and Throughput
