The LUMIX LX5 has also been redesigned externally - with a thicker grip making it easier to hold and a newly-incorporated turn-and-push jog dial achieves various selection and setting more quickly. Ellis Cannon to Teach Sports Broadcasting Through PA Cyber Charter School
High school program believed unique in nation
MIDLAND, Pa., July 21 -- High school students anywhere in Pennsylvania will be able to get an early start on a career in sports media and broadcasting in a new program being offered this year by the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School.
The Ellis Cannon Academy of Sports Media and Broadcasting is a two-semester program to be taught by the veteran sports broadcaster himself in real time as a Virtual Classroom course. It is believed the only one of its type in the nation.
"The sports media and broadcasting curriculum represents what I believe will become a very successful program within our course of studies, one totally unique to PA Cyber and one which I am certain will capture the imagination of our students," said Dr. Nick Trombetta, CEO.
It also marks the return of Cannon, a successful radio and television personality in the Pittsburgh market over the last decade, to his hometown of Midland, Pa. "That this innovative program is being led by one of our hometown favorites, Ellis Cannon, makes it only that much more special," said Dr. Trombetta.

A long-time radio and television personality, Cannon has appeared extensively on local and national television providing analysis on sports and sports law topics, and served as a broadcast member of the Pittsburgh Steelers Football Network. In addition to pending multimedia ventures, Cannon is publisher of Pittsburgh Sports Report and KidSPORTS Magazine, and is hosting PCNC's NightTalk weeknight television show.
A 1977 graduate of Midland's Lincoln High School and a former trial lawyer, Cannon has achieved success in sports broadcasting and publishing for over a decade, becoming one of the region's most respected, knowledgeable and entertaining sports personalities. In April he was inducted into the Beaver County Sports Hall of Fame for broadcasting.

Eutelsat Announces Appointment of David Bair as Chief Technical Officer

appointment of David Bair as Chief Technical Officer. David joins Eutelsat
from EchoStar Satellite Services where he was Senior Vice President of Space
Programmes and Operations. During his tenure, EchoStar instituted a new

grew from five to 14 spacecraft.
Prior to EchoStar, David's track record in the satellite industry

its new commercial telecommunications sector. He also held the position of

Accelerated growth in the second quarter
Emailvision's first-half revenues grew to EUR19.3 million, an
increase of 46% compared to the first half last year. At constant exchange
rates, first-half revenue growth was 44%.
This second consecutive quarter of higher than expected growth
led management to raise its 2010 full year revenue growth objectives to 40%,
compared to over 35% previously announced.
The group won 486 new clients during the half-year, bringing
its total number of clients as at 30 June 2010 to around 2,500.
Good visibility
With a backlog of EUR47.8 million as at 30 June 2010,
increasing by 48% compared to 30 June 2009, Emailvision enters the second
half-year confident in its growth perspectives.
International expansion
All countries contributed to the accelerated growth,
confirming the international technological leadership of Emailvision. Version
7.4 of the Campaign Commander software service, launched in May 2010,
contributed to the strong second quarter. Its robust service and advanced
features allow over 5,000 marketers around the world to successfully plan,

Labor Council for Latin American Advancement (LCLAA) Calls Congress to Action Over Proposed FCC Internet Regulations
Leading Labor Group Joins 17 National Civil Rights Organizations in Call to Action to Congressional Leaders
WASHINGTON, July 20 -- Today a group of 18 civil rights organizations submitted a letter to the leadership of the House and Senate Commerce Committees expressing their disappointment with FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski's proposal to regulate the Internet. These organizations are extremely troubled by the potential implications that the FCC's recent adoption of a Notice of Inquiry on broadband classification will have. As a result, the signers are calling on Congress to clarify the Commission's authority over the Internet with narrow, targeted legislation.
Classifying the Internet as a Title II service distracts from, and may ultimately undermine the pursuit of a National Broadband Plan, which would provide broadband access to every American. This will disproportionately impact those who are already lacking broadband access and will serve to increase the digital divide in America.
At a time when too many Americans lack access to the opportunities enabled by broadband, policies that expand broadband access must be a priority. Additional direction from Congress will provide clarity so investment, innovation and job creation in the broadband market can be maintained. The letter's signers were encouraged by a June 18 letter from the AFL-CIO, NAACP, LULAC and other leading labor, environmental and civil rights organizations to Congressional leaders which called for congressional intervention.
Following the letter's release, Labor Council for Latin American Advancement National President, Milton Rosado stated, "We are not convinced that Chairman Genachowski's 'third way' plan will result in the continued affordability and availability of broadband service. At this time, congressional direction is imperative to achieving the goals of the National Broadband Plan."
In order to maintain an open and affordable Internet, Congress must take action to directly address this pivotal issue and the Commission's "third way" proposal be abandoned.

M Group Architects' New Network Operations Campus for Terremark Technologies is a Major Milestone for the Internet and ICANN
CULPEPER, Va., July 20 -- Terremark Technologies, Inc. recently inaugurated its new state-of-the-art Network Operations campus, master planned and designed by M Group Architects, with a cryptographic key signing event. The key secures the root zone of the Domain Name System. The event was conducted specifically to generate confidence throughout the technical Internet community and demonstrated that the root zone can be relied upon to protect users from false information. The ceremony took place in the M Group Architects'-designed high security 635 000 SF data center and was attended by participants from over ten countries.

The highly sophisticated data center was designed to also house Terremark's on-campus staff. It is equipped with fully redundant backup systems for power and cooling infrastructure.

The design of the data center required an enhanced security protocol, designed to protect both sensitive data and users. It was built as a secure bunker, with security staff, sophisticated surveillance systems, biometric scanners, and secured areas for processing of staff, customers, and visitors. M Group Architects designs one- to two million square feet of office, retail and flex space annually throughout twenty states, with the majority of the work located in the National Capital Region. Commercial, government and military clients include tech companies, government contractors, corporations, design/build contractors, associations, developers and institutional owners.
M Group Architects' project experience ranges from small SCIF spaces that are an integrated part of a much larger interior-tenant design to complete secure-campus master planning and large, dedicated stand-alone data center buildings.
