The IS32LT3175 is a feature-rich AEC-Q100 (Automotive Electronics Council) certified linear LED driver enabling reduced BOM count for low-cost and compact designs. The IS32LT3175 integrates a single channel LED driver with a programmable 150mA current source, push-button control, courtesy signal input and integrated programmable fade-in/fade-out lighting control. The device is designed for use in LED-based map lights, dome lights, door lights and other automotive lighting applications.

The IS32LT3175 integrates all functions, eliminating the need for a microcontroller and several discrete components.  Individual resistors are all that is required to adjust the LED current from 10 to 150mA as well as the fade up/down ramp speed; there is no software programming required. The LED driver can be controlled by either a momentary contact switch or a courtesy signal input. An integrated debounce and latch circuit conditions the switch input so a single press of the mechanical switch does not appear like multiple presses.

If the die temperature exceeds this threshold, the output current of the device will begin to reduce at a rate of 3%/°C. The device will enter thermal shutdown if the die temperature exceeds 175°C.

Laser HUDs are the latest innovation in advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). A vehicle's HUD keeps drivers focused on the road, safely providing speed, warning signals and other vital vehicle and navigation information on the windshield directly in the driver's line of sight. The new generation of augmented reality laser HUDs offer near-zero latency and a wide field of view. They overlay additional real-time information such as traffic signs and a planned turning lane, virtually painting arrows and lines on the road ahead to make navigation directions obvious and easy to follow.

The quad-channel ISL78365 is a complete solution for driving lasers in the scanned-MEMS laser projection systems being deployed in next generation autos. It is the industry's only laser driver with a fourth channel for supporting a wide variety of laser diode configurations, allowing system designers to achieve the desired brightness and sharp, rich colors with high contrast. The ISL78365 provides sub-1.5ns rise and fall times for faster switching speed than competitive devices, resulting in high frame rate, HD color video. The device also offers 10-bit color and 10-bit scale resolution to support a wide variety of contrast levels for each driver channel. And its flexible synchronous parallel video interface supports pixel rates up to 150MHz or 1900 pixels per line.

The ISL78365's dynamic power management optimizes the laser-diode power supply and offers three power saving modes for improved efficiency and reduced power dissipation to meet system thermal requirements. The programmable multi-pulse return to zero (RTZ) feature reduces speckling, and the device's wettable flank QFN package simplifies integration into compact laser projection HUDs.

Both versions feature a low-power 32.768 KHz clock output with less than 2  A current consumption for use as a system RTC reference clock.

The new platforms are designed to bring premium Wi-Fi features, like Multi-User MIMO (MU-MIMO) and Qualcomm® Wi-Fi SON (Self-Organizing Networks) technology into a new class of mainstream routers and smart repeaters, which will help accelerate adoption of technologies that simplify seamless connectivity.

Qualcomm Technologies' new three radio solutions combine two 5 GHz radios and a 2.4GHz radio to provide greater flexibility in the way that routers or repeaters use wireless spectrum and capacity, which can improve connectivity in a variety of network configurations. In homes using a mix of Wi-Fi technologies, the router can dedicate a radio (typically the 2.4 GHz radio) for legacy devices, which can alleviate network congestion and ensure more robust bandwidth for newer 802.11ac devices. Furthermore, when used in distributed networks, the third radio can provide a dedicated link to range extenders or help extend the range of mesh nodes.

Built on OmniVision's PureCel(®)Plus-S stacked die technology, the OV12890 delivers improved sensitivity and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) with faster 12-bit readout architecture when compared with previous-generation big-pixel sensors. These performance enhancements enable the 1/2.3-inch OV12890 to capture ultra-high resolution, high frame rate images and video with support for phase detection autofocus (PDAF), making it an attractive camera solution for premium smartphones.

The OV12890 leverages OmniVision's PureCelPlus-S pixel technology to capture full resolution 12-megapixel images and video at 45 FPS, ultra-high resolution 4K2K video at 60 FPS, and 1080p full HD definition video at 240 FPS via high speed D-PHY and C-PHY interfaces. The OV12890 also supports advanced features such as high dynamic range (HDR).

The OV12890 can fit into 10 x10 mm modules with a z-height of 6 mm. The sensor is currently available for sampling and is expected to enter volume production in the fourth quarter of 2016.
