Delivers Optimized System for Small and Medium Business Collaboration
ARMONK, N.Y., March 19 -- IBM (NYSE:IBM) today announced more than 200 partners are planning to sell to their customers LotusLive cloud services. The news comes in just two months since the introduction of the LotusLive partner program as evidence of increasing migration to the cloud for collaboration capabilities.
New integrated solutions from partners, including Silanis and Skype, are bringing LotusLive to new global customers in the insurance, banking and other industries around the world. In addition, LotusLive has many other market leading partners including PGi, Intercall, Ascendant, Insight, and Integrasys to name a few.
As part of today's news, IBM is also extending the capabilities of Lotus Foundations by integrating DB2 Express database software into the core appliance offering free of charge to better serve SMB customers. There is no database size limit, no limit on the number of instances or databases per server and no restriction on the number of users.
The news reinforces IBM's commitment to SMB customers who require IT solutions that are easy to use and acquire. These developments are appealing to Microsoft customers and partners in the wake of Microsoft's discontinuation of its flagship offering for SMB, Windows Essential Business Server. Microsoft announced its withdrawal on March 7, leaving partners and customers looking for alternatives.

BRUSSELS, March 19, 2010-- Emakina Group (Alternext Brussels: ALEMK) today communicates
its consolidated results for the year 2009. Sales continued to grow by
1%.Group EBITDA improved significantly during the second semester 2009,
reaching 10.6% of sales compared to 3.6% for the first semester of 2009 and
9.7% for the second semester of 2008.
During 2009, Emakina Group sales totaled 31 782 957 EUR
compared to 31 484 834 EUR during the previous year, representing an increase
of 1%, but at a level lower than expected, due to the economic downturn.
EBITDA amounted to 2 328 409 EUR in 2009 (or 7.3% of sales) compared to 2 686
862 EUR (or 8.5% of sales) in the prior year. As a reminder, EBITDA at June
30 2009 amounted to 530 137 EUR, which means and EBITDA of 1 798 272 EUR for
the second half of the year compared to 1 709 556 EUR for the second half of
2008. This improvement is the result of various measures announced in the
half yearly 2009 report.
The recurring result for 2009 amounted to 225 717 EUR compared
to 854 636 EUR in 2008, mainly due to the evolution of EBIT and due to the
decrease of the financial result by 104 245 EUR.
Net profit before tax fell from 900 554 EUR in 2008 to 31 632
EUR in 2009 due to the evolution of the recurring result combined with
non-recurring charges of 225 061 EUR.
The deferred tax impact (related to the capitalization of tax
losses carried forward) fell from an income of 281 917 EUR to a charge of
-457 EUR in 2009 while tax charges fell from 792 196 EUR to 412 075 EUR
respectively.
Net result (before amortization of goodwill) amounted to 608
117 EUR in 2009 compared to 1 281 275 EUR in 2008.
For the second time in its history, the Board of Directors of
Emakina Group will propose to the Shareholders' Meeting on April 22, 2010, a
total gross dividend of 250 000 EUR, amounting to a gross (net) dividend per
share of 0.07150 EUR (0.06077 EUR).
Several elements influenced the 2009 annual results:
The economic crisis had an indirect effect on Emakina mainly
during the first semester of 2009, in particular due to customers in the
financial, automobile and air transport sectors.
Moreover, the sales process became lengthier and required
increased commercial efforts. -
- The legally required indexation of salaries on January 1,
2009 weighed on margins in Belgium.
- Despite the economic downturn, sales continued to increase
for the 5th consecutive year, in particular due to the synergies
developed between Emakina Group subsidiaries, to attract new
international clients. Emakina Belgium and Emakina.NL thus worked
jointly to create Yunomi, an online women's community developed for the
Benelux area by Unilever. Similarly, Emakina Belgium and Emakina.EU, a
new agency specialized in European and International Institutions,
partnered in October 2009, to obtain an important framework contract
with the European Commission (Directorate General for Health and
Consumers) in the field of audiovisual services and media training.
Emakina Group's management took the following measures to
support growth and reinforce margins:
- Increased use of reporting tools developed from the existing
integrated ERPs to optimize project management and track their
profitability.
- Emakina Group faces numerous opportunities that have arisen
from the technological changes that were speeded up by the current
economic situation. The media and advertising world was particularly
shaken in 2009. In this context, Emakina Group wants to be a major
actor, striving to help its clients to take advantage of these changes.
- At 2009 end, Emakina concluded a commercial partnership with
the German group Pixelpark AG, thus creating the means to respond on a
pan-european scale to the needs of its existing and future
international customers who require a large geographical presence in
these markets.
Prospects for 2010
Emakina foresees a slightly more positive economic environment
in 2010. In this context, Emakina expects moderate sales growth, due to
several key elements: pluri-annual contracts mentioned above, increased

Johnson Controls, a leading global supplier of automotive interior
systems and electronics, today announced plans to acquire Benoac Fertigteile
GmbH in Peine, Germany. Benoac Fertigteile GmbH is a joint venture between
Johnson Controls, Benecke-Kaliko AG and Inoac Corporation. Johnson Controls
who previously had a 4.8% holding intends to acquire the 84.8% owned by
Benecke-Kaliko AG, including approximately 60 employees located in Peine.
Benoac Fertigteile GmbH, established in 1986, manufactures surface
materials for automotive instrument panels, referred to as slush skins. Their
customers include suppliers to the automotive industry. Benoac has been
supplying Johnson Controls with slush skins for automotive interiors since
1990.
Johnson Controls is focused on profitable growth through the vertical
integration of slush skins used in the manufacture of instrument panels.

support us to further expand our technological competence and strong market

approval of the German Federal Cartel Office.

VirnetX Patent Claims Confirmed Valid in Dispute With Microsoft
US Patent Office Confirms Three Claims
SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif., March 19 -- VirnetX Holding Corporation (NYSE Amex: VHC), a secure real-time communications and collaboration technology company, today announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), in a letter dated January 19, 2010, confirmed the validity of three claims of U.S. Patent No. 7,188,180 that are at issue in its patent infringement suit against Microsoft.
In a lawsuit filed February 2007, VirnetX alleged that Microsoft willingly infringed two of its U.S. Patent Nos. 6,502,135 and 7,188,180 by including virtual private network (VPN) technology in Microsoft's Windows and Office Communications Server products. Microsoft requested a reexamination of the two VirnetX patents in December 2009.
On March 16, 2010, a jury awarded VirnetX a $105,750,000 verdict against Microsoft Corporation for infringing the same two VirnetX patents. The Jury also found that the asserted claims of the VirnetX patents were valid and that Microsoft's patent infringement was willful. VirnetX will request injunctive relief.
On March 17, 2010, VirnetX filed a new motion against Microsoft alleging infringement of U.S. Patent Nos. 6,502,135 and 7,188,180 by Microsoft's Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 software products.

LAS VEGAS, March 19, 2010-- Sales in the German security technology market are expected to
grow by more than 50 percent by 2015. From biometrics to IT security, German
quality products and services are in high demand. Germany Trade & Invest will

Optametra and LeCroy to Showcase Test Solution Capable of 224 Gb/s PM-QPSK at OFC/NFOEC Exposition
CHESTNUT RIDGE, N.Y., March 19 -- LeCroy Corporation, designer of the world's fastest (30 GHz) real-time oscilloscope, and Optametra, a leading supplier of coherent lightwave signal analyzers, will showcase their combined test solution at the OFC/NFOEC Exposition, Booth 1406, San Diego from March 23 to 25.
LeCroy's WaveMaster 830Zi, a 30 GHz real-time oscilloscope, has already been used to measure 224 Gb/s capability using 56 Gb/s per tributary polarization multiplexed quadrature phase shift keying (PM-QPSK) signals. This is a significant step towards accelerating the availability of 200G transmission technology and beyond for ultra long haul Dense Waveform Division Multiplexing (DWDM) networks.
By integrating the capability of the 30 GHz Optametra OM4106B Coherent Lightwave Signal Analyzer with the real-time 30 GHz bandwidth of the LeCroy WaveMaster 830Zi oscilloscope, the combined instruments offer the highest real-time bandwidth for signal analysis in ultra long haul fiber telecommunications. Optametra's software operates within the LeCroy oscilloscope permitting access to all variables in the analysis via Matlab, and providing users with an excellent platform for developing and testing proprietary algorithms including Chromatic Dispersion (CD) compensation, Polarization Multiplex Distortion (PMD) compensation, new proprietary modulation schemes, pass-fail criteria, or any user-defined algorithm.
The demand for increased telecommunications bandwidth is being driven by YouTube, Facebook, Google, data centers, and high-speed infrastructure build-out. Advanced modulation formats with greater spectral efficiency offer an easy, flexible and lower-cost route to the commercialization of 100G or greater transport technology. The Optametra and LeCroy test solution proves the feasibility of using PM-QPSK to modulate the phase, rather than the amplitude of the signal at high data rates without taking any shortcuts that can lose valuable data. Two oscilloscopes can be synchronized together to achieve 30 GHz on four channels to acquire four optical signals. The acquisition system in the 830Zi utilizes LeCroy's patented fifth-generation Digital Bandwidth Interleaving (DBI) technology to achieve an industry leading 30 GHz real-time bandwidth, 15.5 ps rise time, and a 200 fs jitter noise floor with superior signal fidelity. With DBI, the basic 16 GHz Silicon-Germanium signal conditioning components are always operating comfortably in their rated frequency range and interleaved with a combination of radio frequency (RF) hardware and Digital Signal Processing (DSP) to achieve 30 GHz performance. Sample rate and memory are simultaneously interleaved. The bandwidth and sampling rate combined with a deep acquisition memory enable large blocks of data to be acquired in real-time allowing signal processing and detection of the data bits and computation of bit error ratios.

New WBR 700 Series eNodeB supports growing interest in TD-LTE
ARLINGTON HTS, Ill., March 19 -- The Networks business of Motorola, Inc. (NYSE:MOT) today announced the addition of a TD-LTE-Advanced capable 4Tx/8Rx radio head with multiple input/multiple output (MIMO) to its 4G - WBR 700 Series LTE eNodeB portfolio. This TD-LTE solution - while similar in size to a standard 2Tx/2Rx LTE eNodeB - enables advanced MIMO schemes including multi user (MU) MIMO and beam-forming to provide unprecedented capacity and coverage. The WBR 700 TD-LTE 4Tx/8Rx with MIMO solution will be displayed in Motorola's booth at International CTIA Wireless 2010 (Central Hall #409).
Motorola recently launched its LTE-Advanced capable WBR 700 Series, which is Motorola's fourth generation orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) solution and its second generation LTE platform. The WBR 700 Series features Motorola's proprietary Intelligent OFDM Scheduler for improved sector throughput. Motorola's TD-LTE Expertise and Achievements
Motorola has gained significant experience and momentum in TD-LTE thanks to its OFDM experience, which was instrumental in the development and design of the TD-LTE 4Tx/8Rx solution. These engineering innovations resulted in one of the most efficient radios in the market - allowing it to be compact enough to be installed and mounted on a tower. By packing more performance into a smaller unit, operators can get better performance out of the sites they deploy and may be able to use fewer sites, thereby lowering their total cost of ownership.
Motorola was selected last year by China Mobile Communications Corporation (CMCC) to be the primary TD-LTE solution supplier providing indoor coverage for all major pavilions at the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai China. At the Expo, which runs May 1 to Oct. 31, 2010 and is expected to attract 70 million visitors, Motorola also will integrate and launch the world's first TD-LTE USB dongle that supports both 2.3GHz and 2.6GHz. This LTE device launch will help operators build a healthy TD-LTE ecosystem.
Motorola's on-going advancements in TD-LTE include its recently announced first over- the-air TD-LTE data session on the TD-LTE network in Shanghai and the successful completion of the TD-LTE key functionalities tests initiated by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
These achievements, plus being the only vendor able to complete all radio frequency (RF) test cases in CMCC's TD-LTE trial including reaching the TD-LTE theoretical maximum data rate in 20MHz and successfully running multiple user devices, and conducting the world's first TD-LTE live drive demo at ITU Telecom 2009 in Geneva, are further demonstrations of Motorola's LTE expertise.

The DragonFly 40G QSFP is a 4x10G hot pluggable optical transceiver.
ColorChip's unique SystemOnGlass(TM) (SOGTM) technology enables the
integration of 4 transmitters, 4 receivers and an optical MUX/DeMUX into a
small form factor package that delivers a 40 Gbps data link in a compact QSFP
footprint. The optical connectivity is based on two SMF LC connectors, one
for Tx and one for Rx. The Tx and Rx each consist of 4 10GB/s CWDM channels,
whose wavelengths are in the 1300nm range.
As the demand for higher bandwidth increases, optical networks are
spreading rapidly from the core to the enterprise, access, telecom and
datacom networks (including storage and server networks). ColorChip's
