Snoochie Boochies Lil Noochies! Jay And Silent Bob Are Getting Their Own Video Game!
Interabang Entertainment and Fig Publishing Launch Crowdfunding Campaign on Fig.co
SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Jump into the shoes of Lunch Box and Mr. Snoogans! The team at Interabang Entertainment is making a Jay and Silent Bob video game, called Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch! Longtime fans of Kevin Smith's Askew-niverse, the Interabang team is creating a game that captures the satire and irreverence of the movies and brings back the tone of the gone-before-its-time Clerks cartoon series. To kick off the project, Interabang Entertainment and Fig Publishing are giving fans a chance to get involved through a rewards and investment crowdfunding campaign for Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch on the Fig platform (http://www.fig.co).
In Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch, players get into a tag team combo fight fest and wreak havoc on their foes with fists, feet, and the magic of self-esteem-destroying jibes while embarking on a mission to find their long-lost pot customers trapped in an Orwellian mega super shopping mall. The mall turns out to be a Utopian labyrinth with apartments, restaurants, hospitals and everything that a post-World War II nuclear bunker would contain--with a candy coating of fun.
Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch is a colorful side-scrolling 2.5D, over-the-top multiplayer tag-team brawler whose action escalates as the player travels deeper into the mall of purgatory. The team is creating the narrative through environment, design, combat and a new conversation combat system called the Convo Combo mode. This mechanic changes the dynamics of enemy showdowns through cutting insults combined with an intricate facial animation system that bonds dynamic fighting with timed phrase matching. This delivers a completely different kind of storytelling experience. Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch also includes co-op play, where players finish each other's combos, and create havoc in the world's largest mall.
"People have asked me for years why I never made a Jay and Silent Bob video game," said Kevin Smith. "Now I can tell them I was waiting for Justin Woodward from Interabang Ent. and our own Elias to bring it together. Couldn't be happier to hand our characters off to folks who know them as well as I do."
"Kevin Smith's films have long inspired our team," said Interabang founder Justin Woodward. "During development for our first game, we'd take breaks to watch them back to back. The iconic characters, hilarious dialogue, and sheer surrealism of the Askew-niverse got us through rough patches during development and life's struggles. We kept coming back to thinking about how amazing it would be to see Jay and Silent Bob in a game like the ones we design, and we're amazed that we have this opportunity now."
"The first time I heard about Justin creating a game based on Jay and Silent Bob, I wanted it to be a Fig campaign. I mean, Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes in a Castle Crasher style brawler, fighting with fists, feet and insults - what's not to like?!" said Justin Bailey, CEO, Fig. "This campaign will provide traditional rewards, and accept accredited investment as well as unaccredited reservations which will be collected once they are re-confirmed after the SEC filing process is complete."
Beginning today at 9AM PT, anyone can help fund the project at Fig.co, the only video game-centric funding platform that offers investment and rewards-based crowdfunding. Fig.co provides game studios and their fans with a more balanced and sustainable approach to game development that helps unite fans, investors and developers.
The Fig campaign funding goal for Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch is $400K and the campaign is open to investment (through Game Shares to be offered by Fig Publishing) and rewards (being offered by Interabang). Rewards range from premium digital goodies and new action figures based on designs from the game, to signed custom Kevin Smith-style jerseys and a walk-on in Kevin Smith's next movie!
Fig Publishing Inc. will be offering and selling Jay and Silent Bob (JASB) Game Shares to accredited investors under Rule 506(c) of the rules of the US. Securities and Exchange Commission (the SEC), and will be taking reservations for JASB Game Shares from unaccredited investors in a subsequent offering under Regulation A of the rules of the SEC. Investments in JASB Game Shares will start at $250. Before Fig Publishing can collect on reservations in the Regulation A offering, the Regulation A offering must be qualified by the SEC. In order for this to happen, Fig Publishing must draft a detailed offering statement and gather other information in compliance with SEC rules, file the offering statement and exhibits with the SEC, and revise the offering statement and exhibits to respond to one or more rounds of written comments and questions from the SEC. When the SEC has finished commenting, it will declare the offering qualified, and Fig Publishing will then re-confirm reservations, collect on the re-confirmed reservations and deliver Games Shares to the re-confirmed investors. It's important to point out that this is a typical process for companies seeking to offer securities to unaccredited investors. During the process, reserved investors and anyone else will be able to view Fig Publishing's latest public preliminary offering circular for the Game Shares on Fig.co and on the EDGAR portion of the SEC's website at http://www.sec.gov.

Y Soft Introduces YSoft Labs -- A Tech Innovation Center for Enterprise Office Solutions
-- Y Soft Eyes New Opportunities beyond Print Management & 3D Printing --
DALLAS and BRNO, Czech Republic, Feb. 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Y Soft, a leading enterprise office solutions provider, today announced YSoft Labs, an innovation center that explores emerging enterprise office technologies that will take Y Soft in new product directions while still expanding the company's current business opportunities. YSoft Labs is a result of the company's long-term strategy and commitment to invest half of its profits into research and development activities.
The expansion of the company's research and development also means over 40 new career opportunities for software and hardware engineers, researchers, architects and product and project managers.
The newly formed YSoft Labs will enable the company's expanding research and development teams the freedom to explore novel areas, particularly in the Internet of Things (IoT) and Business Process areas that have the potential for future products and services to help enterprises build and run smarter companies.
In a December 2015 report, Gartner([1]) noted "A majority of business processes will be impacted by the Internet of Things (IoT), creating pressure on IT leaders to evolve systems and infrastructure to adapt."
Y Soft's CTO and board member, Ondrej KrajÃcek commented, "Our development teams are already experimenting with new technologies and pride themselves on staying ahead of trends in the market. The formalization of YSoft Labs with Martin de Martini and R&D is off to a great start already."
"It's an exciting time for Y Soft as we invest in these initial technology areas," said Martin de Martini, Head of YSoft Labs and Y Soft co-founder. "With YSoft Labs, we are bringing together talented teams of developers and project leaders interested in working together to conceive and create the next generation enterprise office products," he added.
Currently, Y Soft's flagship product, YSoft SafeQ, provides enterprise print management and document capture to large and SMB organizations looking to reduce the cost of print services, increase document security and improve workflow productivity. The YSoft Be3D family of 3D printers provides an affordable way for educational institutions to incorporate 3D printing into their curriculum as a learning tool and for manufacturers to cost efficiently prototype or produce finished goods.
With YSoft Labs, Y Soft will expand these two current product areas and demonstrate new capabilities in additional fields for the enterprise. The initial areas of focus for YSoft Labs include:
The Internet of Things Platform - Already incorporated in Y Soft products today, this area will further explore the application possibilities an IoT platform approach brings due to features such as managed deployment, monitoring and configuration and easy development of IoT applications. In this video example showing the potential of this area, YSoft Labs created a pair of robots to simulate the testing of new software features on multifunction printers.
Business Process Management (BPM) - Increasingly, organizations - especially knowledge-based organizations facing rapid growth with a young and very social-oriented workforce - are challenged with standardizing processes to remain productive. Today's BPM solutions are cumbersome and time-consuming and ultimately don't serve the organization as intended.
3D Printers and Workflow Solutions - With the rapid adoption of 3D printing, YSoft Labs will explore the similarities and differences between 2D and 3D printing processes to define best practice workflows for organizations using 3D printing in small form factor manufacturing, education and prototyping. With the belief that 3D printing will become pervasive on the networks of enterprises and universities, many of the print management benefits from YSoft SafeQ apply. Additionally, this area will define new 3D printer designs and capabilities.
Future of Print Management and Document Capture - In this area, Y Soft will continually innovate its flagship product, YSoft SafeQ. As organizations' needs change based on new technology and architecture trends, such as the shared economy, public and hybrid cloud, mobile and advanced digital workflows, YSoft Labs will develop new capabilities for the most forward-thinking customers.
For more information about the multiple R&D and product/project positions available at Y Soft for each of the above initiatives, visit our Careers site, career.ysoft.com. To learn more about YSoft Labs, visit ysoft.com/labs.

Toshiba Image Recognition Processor Delivers Advanced Functionality For Monocular Cameras In ADAS Applications
Fourth-generation processor integrates new hardware accelerators and media processing units
SAN JOSE, Calif., Feb. 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Toshiba America Electronic Components, Inc. (TAEC)*, a committed leader that collaborates with technology companies to create breakthrough designs, today announced the newest addition to its TMPV760 family of image recognition processors for automotive applications. The TMPV7602XBG is suitable for monocular cameras used in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and will help designers implement ADAS applications utilizing a cost-optimized camera system with a small form factor.
Featuring 13 hardware-based image recognition accelerators, the TMPV7602XBG incorporates ADAS features that will become part of the camera requirements for the European New Car Assessment Program (Euro NCAP) in 2018. These include Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Traffic Signal Recognition (TSR), Lane Departure Warning (LDW) / Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), High Beam Assistance (HBA), and Forward Collision Warning (FCW). In addition, the processor supports such new applications as Traffic Light Recognition (TLR) and night-time pedestrian detection.
"With ADAS technology now widely used in new-model vehicles, we are continuing to build our portfolio of image recognition processors that can accommodate a range of functions and capabilities," said Deepak Mithani, senior director of the Mixed Signal Business Unit, System LSI Group at TAEC. "The TMPV7602XBG was developed to provide high-speed, low-power recognition of images captured by the on-vehicle monocular camera - including pedestrians, traffic lights and signs, road markings and other vehicles - to help ensure safe driving."
ADAS applications are processed concurrently within a typical time window of 50ms inside the image recognition processor and with relatively low power consumption due to the purpose-built hardware accelerators and media processing units. The TMPV7602XBG can process up to five applications concurrently, with very low power consumption, and targets mid- to high-end ADAS designs. Optimizing the circuit to downsize the ADAS monocular camera module enables the device's reduced package size (17mm x 17mm BGA with 521 pins and 0.65mm ball pitch) and an anticipated 50-percent reduction in power consumption.([1])
The TMPV7602XBG integrates new, enhanced CoHOG([2]) accelerators that provide higher image recognition accuracy than previous Toshiba devices, particularly in low-light and night-time conditions. Color-based gradient analysis of images supplied by full-HD (2-megapixel) connected cameras also improves night-time pedestrian detection rates.
Using its heterogeneous multi-core architecture, the new Toshiba processor can handle multiple applications simultaneously in real time. It features newly integrated image processing accelerators and media processing engines supported by floating point units that perform double precision floating-point arithmetic calculations. Operating frequency is 266.7MHz maximum.
Availability
Samples of the TMPV7602XBG image recognition processor will begin shipping in March. Mass production is scheduled for January 2018.

"With the new DL line, Nikon is proud to fuse legendary NIKKOR optics with the latest innovations in imaging to provide advanced photographers amazingly compact tools capable of capturing photos and video that even the most discerned professional would be proud of."
The Nikon DL Series: Powerful Performance, Superior Optics
The new DL line of premium compact cameras packs innovative and powerful imaging technology into elegantly designed yet remarkably compact camera bodies, making it easier than ever to carry pure imaging prowess in the palm of one's hand. All of these new cameras are designed with a 20.8-megapixel CX-format (1-inch) BSI CMOS sensor, which when combined with fast, high quality NIKKOR glass, help to create stunning image quality for stills or 4K UHD video. Working alongside the new sensor is the new EXPEED 6A image processor that allows for impressive noise reduction and powerful, fast performance, making it possible to capture stunning low-light street photography, beautiful portraits or spectacular landscapes with ease.
For fleeting moments and fast-action, the DL line incorporates a high-speed hybrid autofocus (AF) system featuring 105 phase detect focus areas (with 171 focus points in contrast detect AF mode), as well as continuous shooting up to an incredible 20 fps, with capability to capture up to a blazing fast 60 fps with focus locked on the first frame. The DL series also features Dual Detect Optical VR technology to compensate for camera shake while handheld or at slower shutter speeds.
Continuing the impressive legacy of NIKKOR glass, each new DL camera features a unique lens design capable of amazing resolution and beautiful background blur (bokeh), with impressively fast apertures. Each NIKKOR lens is also equipped with a fluorine coating that helps repel dirt, water and oil, and also facilitates easy cleaning. For the first time in a Nikon compact camera, the DL18-50's NIKKOR lens will utilize Nano Crystal Coat to help reduce ghost and flare, particularly useful when shooting at a wide-angle. With the best NIKKOR technologies now integrated into compact camera models, users will be able to capture phenomenal images with amazing detail time and time again.
Control and Versatility
The DL24-85, DL18-50 and DL24-500 put creative control in the hands of each photographer and are all operated using the familiar Nikon DSLR menu design and an assortment of physical controls. The series also supports RAW (NEF) image capture, full PSAM manual controls and over 20 preset creative options, for use in both still and video shooting (including Picture Control, Creative mode, Multiple Exposure Lighten) to help challenge each user to expand their photographic horizons.
The DL line provides the tools to frame nearly every shot, with all three cameras sporting high-resolution 1,037k-dot OLED Touch displays. While the DL24-85 and DL18-50 allow for tilting, the DL24-500's display provides full Vari-angle capability, vitally important when shooting from unique perspectives. Even further customization and control is possible utilizing the hot shoe/accessory shoe available on DL24-85 and DL18-50 models that allows for complete system expandability with the DF-E1 optional electronic viewfinder. The DL24-500 also sports a hot shoe and a stereo microphone input jack, while all three models are compatible with Nikon i-TTL Speedlights.

The Walking Dead: Michonne - A Telltale Miniseries stars the iconic, blade-wielding character from Robert Kirkman's best-selling comic books, portrayed in-game by award-winning actress Samira Wiley (Orange is the New Black). Players will dive into the mind of Michonne to discover what took her away from Rick, Carl, and the rest of her trusted group... and what brought her back.
"Michonne has long been a favorite character of ours and fans the world over, standing among the most complex and tormented perspectives in Robert Kirkman's universe," said Kevin Bruner, Co-Founder and CEO of Telltale Games. "Allowing players to step into the role of Michonne for the first time makes for a uniquely compelling Telltale experience in The Walking Dead series that will never clearly offer right or wrong answers on the path to survival or redemption."
In this premiere episode, 'In Too Deep,' Michonne joins Pete and his crew on the sailing ship The Companion as they cruise the coast for survivors and supplies. When a desperate signal for help draws them to a scene of horrific massacre, Michonne and the crew are lead further to the floating survivors' colony of Monroe, which may just be harboring the person responsible for the carnage.

About Robert Kirkman
Since entering the comics scene with his self-published cult-hit Battle Pope in 2000, the Kentucky native has risen to fame as one of the most successful names in comics and entertainment. He is the creator of many popular comic books, including the Eisner Award-winning The Walking Dead, long-running Invincible, all-ages Super Dinosaur, and the atmospheric exorcism comic, Outcast, which was released in June 2014 and recently received a series pickup for CINEMAX with Fox International. Kirkman will serve as creator, writer and executive producer of the series that is slated to release summer 2016. His success and passionate advocacy for creator-owned comics led him to become the first person invited to become a partner at Image Comics since the company's inception twenty-four years ago. In 2010, Robert saw an opportunity to create a transmedia entertainment company that would nurture creators, and give them the resources to create content while retaining creative control of their properties. Partnering with longtime collaborator, and fellow executive producer of The Walking Dead franchise and Outcast, David Alpert, Skybound Entertainment was born. That same year, Kirkman continued to expand his presence in the entertainment industry, becoming a creator, executive producer and writer on The Walking Dead television show. The show will soon begin production on its sixth season and has become the highest-rated basic cable drama of all time. To date The Walking Dead is the #1 on television among the coveted 18-49 demo. Kirkman is also the executive producer and creator of AMC's upcoming companion series Fear The Walking Dead for which he co-wrote the pilot alongside Dave Erickson (Sons of Anarchy, Marco Polo).

The web-TV leader's heavy investment in media SaaS IP and state-of-the-art set top box hardware leaves them ready and waiting for this moment.
ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- With the FCC's decision to unlock the lucrative set top box market, a tidal wave of innovation and competition is expected in that space. But as the tech giants head to the drawing board, the maker of popular web-based media guide Rabbit TV Plus is all but ready to deliver a finished product.
This decision comes amid FreeCast's own imminent rollout of Select TV, a new commercial service platform, boasting integration with new set top box hardware that captivated attention at the Showstoppers media reception during the CES Show 2016. The hardware will be dubbed "One" because with the new possibilities for third party set top boxes, it will serve as the one device for everything consumers need, replacing potentially dozens of devices from Apple TV and Roku-style app managers to DVR equipment from cable providers or TiVo.
Select TV and the associated One hardware are already launching, and will soon reach retail where FreeCast has proven strength, having sold over 4 million subscriptions to its popular Rabbit TV Plus service through a partnership with Telebrands. Like Rabbit TV, Select TV and the One set top box will be available in over 35,000 nationwide retailers including Walmart, Target, Sears, Walgreens, CVS, Bed Bath & Beyond, Office Depot, and more.
"We've been building for this day literally for years now, so the opportunities before us are simply massive. We have the ability to put everything that the web has to offer right alongside the full offering that you'd get from your pay-TV provider today. As we speak, we're already partnering with telcos, wireless providers, cable companies, and manufacturers. On the hardware note, we're also already working with a top 5 global television manufacturer to develop the world's first Internet TV with full PC functionality. This will bring consumers everything they could ever want to watch, without the need for any additional device at all!" FreeCast CEO William Mobley claimed.
FreeCast has spent years and millions of dollars developing a tremendous amount of intellectual property in anticipation of a day like this. The company boasts a proven, easy-to-use service to organize and deliver over 250,000 movies, 350,000 TV episodes, 1000 streaming channels, a full calendar of live events, and more; literally everything consumers watch on the web. Already having developed a commercial back end that can manage all of the various OTT content inputs and bring them together in a single interface, no company is better positioned than FreeCast to meet the current market demand and bring all of the benefits of the FCC's recent decision to consumers' hands faster.
Zenfolio Protects Photographers With Newly Added Features
Zenfolio Offers User Agreement/Privacy Policy Ensuring Compliance with All Laws
MENLO PARK, Calif., Feb. 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Zenfolio--an all-in-one web solution for photographers to organize, display and sell their images in one spot, with uncompromised quality--today announced the launch of a revolutionary service to the photography industry by providing User Agreement/Privacy Policy content for all users' sites. Zenfolio is the first in the industry to offer this convenience, which guarantees compliance with all laws and regulations.
Every website that collects personal data, whether it's a lifestyle blog, news site or recipe database, is required by law to have a clearly visible Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions section. This content is often time-consuming to draft and includes legal terms with which many users are not familiar. Prior to this newly launched service, users of all website owners had to personally create this content. To alleviate the stress of having to create these sections, Zenfolio will now provide a combined User Agreement/Privacy Policy for all Zenfolio websites. Additionally, an optional "Powered by Zenfolio" icon can be added to users' pages to deflect potential legality issues and responsibilities from the user to Zenfolio. Users will still have the option to create additional Terms of Use or Privacy Policy page (as a Custom Page), if needed.
"This specific launch means professional photographers can spend quality time on what matters most - their business, not drafting legal documents for their site," said Arnaud Collin, Zenfolio general manager. "The new User Agreement/Privacy Policy feature is proof that our users' feedback, preferences and needs are always the catalyst for product innovation at Zenfolio."
Additionally, Zenfolio recently added the ability for photographers to automatically send scheduled series of emails to their clients and introduced mobile shopping, one-click selling features, and impressive platform enhancements in the past few months.

Building on its global momentum in Programmatic Mobile Video, Vdopia launches Chocolate Preferred for advertisers and Supply Side platform for premium publishers.
BARCELONA, Spain, Feb. 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Vdopia, a global leader in mobile video advertising, today announced the launch of innovative new programmatic platform tools.
Following the successful launch of Chocolate, the first mobile video only programmatic platform, Vdopia has extended its product suite with its 'Chocolate Preferred' for advertisers & 'Chocolate Supply Side Platform' for publishers.

Chocolate Preferred enables programmatic deals via Deal ID or directly for mobile advertisers on a guaranteed and non-guaranteed basis and supports newer Mobile Outstream & Native video formats as well as In-stream Pre-roll ad units.
"It's no secret that mobile video is one of the fastest growing areas in programmatic but it's not easy to create a private marketplace deal with an app or mobile site that matches an advertiser's desired audience," said Saurabh Bhatia, CEO, Vdopia. ""We wanted to make private marketplace deals in mobile video as simple as on desktop. To offer preferred real time access to this inventory to our brand advertisers on both a guaranteed and non-guaranteed basis is a game-changer. Now advertiser's can slice and dice their perfect mobile video audience and buy directly through their favorite dsp."
Also announced today is the 'Chocolate Supply Side Platform' or SSP for premium mobile publishers. The Chocolate SSP solves a need for publishers of how to manage new mobile video formats such as outstream and in-stream video for mobile web and app inventory. The supply platform enables access to preferred demand & multiple other demand sources & programmatic partners.
"The Chocolate SSP is unique; it's a mobile video only supply platform focused on the pain points for mobile publishers - managing SDK's, VAST & JS tags across multiple providers & ad servers, improving yield, fill and managing passbacks. Plus the way we run our auction takes into account both brand and performance advertisers and their respective goals." Martin Price Vdopia SVP of Product explained "Our aim is not only to generate the highest yield for publishers, but to help improve the user experience of our partners sites and apps by showing better performing video ad units to the segments of their audience that will interact with them the most."
The product releases come on the back of two high profile hires in 2015: Price joined Vdopia from OpenX where he was VP of Product, and Giuseppe Di Mauro, ex-Pubmatic, joined as SVP of Engineering.
Vdopia operates the industry's only mobile video-only programmatic platform, called Chocolate, which is powered by its proprietary .VDO technology. Vdopia also last year launched InView, a native video ad format for mobile, which is highly transparent and certified viewability-measurable - a much-talked-about topic in the industry.

TAG Heuer Unveils its "Connected Watch" and Exclusive Ambassador Watch Faces at the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition
DOHA, Qatar, February 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --
Luxury Swiss Watchmaker Looks to the Future with Innovative Offering and commitment to
be #ConnectedToEternity Â
Today, TAG Heuer hosted the exclusive Middle East unveiling of the TAG Heuer Connected
Watch at this year's Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition. The exhibition, now in its
12th year, is one of the most exclusive in the world for HNWI to view and purchase unique
watches, jewellery, diamonds and precious stones. With the Connected Watch, engineered
with Intel technology and benefiting from everything the Android Wear universe has to
offer, TAG Heuer has created the world's first luxury smart timepiece, and have chosen
DJWE to showcase to the Middle East the pioneering technology and elegant style of their
latest innovation.
What is the TAG Heuer Connected Watch?Â
The TAG Heuer Connected Watch with Intel Inside is a luxury watch that benefits from
over 150 years of Swiss expertise, savoir-faire and heritage as cultivated by TAG Heuer, a
watch manufacture based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the cradle of Swiss watchmaking and a UNESCO
World Heritage site set at an altitude of 1,000 metres, in the middle of Alpine pastures
and mountains.
Here, watchmakers have been spending the winter in their workshops (in summer, they
farm in the pastures) since the 18th century, inventing incredible watches, which have
built the unique reputation and extraordinary image of quality and exclusivity that Swiss
watches enjoy the world over. For more than 150 years, TAG Heuer has been inventing and
manufacturing elegant sports watches in the city, including some of the most accurate
chronographs produced by the Swiss watch industry.
At 46 mm in diameter, the design of the TAG Heuer Connected is primarily that of a
true chronograph, with a case, back and lugs made from grade 2 titanium, a contemporary
material ensuring the watch is lighter and more resistant to impacts than a traditional
material such as steel or gold. Completed by a textured black rubber strap (six other
colors - red, blue, white, orange, green and yellow - are available, sold separately) with
a deploying buckle made of grade 2 titanium as well, it has all the elegance,
characteristics and level of finish expected from a fine wristwatch.
To reinforce its watch DNA...Â
For the first time, TAG Heuer has developed three digital watch dials (known as watch
faces), which feature the immediately recognizable design codes of TAG Heuer's Carrera
collection, including hands, index, counters, date window and minute track.
The following will be available from the launch date: the chronograph dial, the 3-hand
dial and the GMT dial, all of which display the date and are available in a choice of
three colors (black, deep blue or pearl white), faithfully reproducing the appearance and
functions of a true dial, with shadows under the hands and the beautiful sunburst effect
of the light. And because the TAG Heuer Connected is above all a watch, the digital hands
and indexes remain visible at all times, even when the watch is in ambient energy-saving
mode.
And to make it even more uniqueÂ
The TAG Heuer Connected is a true watch, both in terms of its appearance, with its
watch faces and its minute tracks, but also in its "interactive counters", thanks to the
unique way in which its applications are displayed.
The principle is simple: the dial and the hands remain, while the most pertinent
information from partner applications is elegantly displayed inside the three counters on
the chronograph dial at 12, 6 and 9 o'clock, completely integrated into the watch's
aesthetic environment.
What if something shown in a counter really interests you? Touch the counter in
question to open and interact with the application in full screen mode.
Favorite applications, sports updates or alerts... it is easy to use and makes
information simple to read, enabling the user to stay focused on the essential, without
this spoiling the watch's classic appearance. The apps customized for TAG Heuer and
available on an exclusive basis will be, to start with, Insiders (lifestyle), GolfShot Pro
(golf), RaceChrono Pro (motor racing) and Viewrangers (trailing), which will be offered
with free subscriptions. A specially developed Software Development Kit (SDK) will allow
enrichment.
In addition, TAG Heuer has added the classic functions that are a key part of the
watch universe: Timer, Alarm and Stopwatch, the design of which is faithful to the brand's
codes.
Smart. But to what extent?Â
Living, travelling, getting information, connecting... the TAG Heuer Connected watch
is the perfect partner. It brings together the best of both worlds: a magnificent TAG
Heuer watch with computing intelligence.
TAG Heuer worked closely with Intel and Google to create a luxury watch that combined
connectivity and computing intelligence with Swiss watchmaking heritage. The watch
features an Intel(R) Atom(TM) processor Z34XX and runs the Android Wear platform.
Intel engineered the intelligence inside the watch to optimize performance and enable
a multitude of connectivity options including audio streaming, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi as well
as allow users to harness the full range of features offered by the Android Wear operating
system.
With 4 GB of memory, and all day battery life thanks to its latest-generation lithium
battery, the TAG Heuer Connected is equipped with a small microphone to communicate with
via Google voice control and a sapphire crystal touchscreen - the indispensable complement
to the crown at 3 o'clock which also houses controls. The entire piece has been made water
resistant for everyday use and is IP67 water resistance rated.
What if the phone is not with you? No problem. The watch will continue to calculate,
display, and exchange data, and as long as you have a Wi-Fi connection it will remain
connected to the cloud. Naturally, its resident applications (music, timer, alarm, step
counter) remain active even when no connection is available.
Android Wear opens the watch up to an almost infinite universe, an ecosystem that
enriches itself night and day: thousands of Android applications are already available for
the TAG Heuer Connected watch user to download. The key applications, currently used by
millions, such as Google Fit, Google Translate, Google Maps and Google Search with your
voice are already available on the watch, and show you information with just a glance.
The watch can also be easily synced with a phone running either on Android 4.3+ or iOS
8.2+. It is charged using a contact charger. Simply place the watch on top to recharge it.
The watch also benefits from a two-year warranty, like other TAG Heuer watches.
A connected watch that can also be a timeless giftÂ
Finally anyone who purchases a TAG Heuer Connected watch will have the opportunity to
exchange it for a mechanical watch with real Swiss movement inside.
At the end of the connected watch's two-year warranty period, customers can go to the
TAG Heuer store of his or her choice to exchange the TAG Heuer Connected watch for a
mechanical Swiss Made Carrera watch. With similar design, also made from grade 2 titanium,
this mechanical watch has been exclusively developed and reserved for owners of connected
watches. Its price is set at 1500 USD, 1'350 Euros, 1'400 CHF, 1'100 GBP.
To complete the experience, an online platform that brings all users togetherÂ
A dedicated online platform tagheuerconnected.com [http://www.tagheuer.com ] has been
created to share the latest new features and obtain the partner applications available for
the interactive counters watch faces. The TAG Heuer Connected watch is available for sale
right now from the site tagheuer.com [http://www.tagheuer.com ] and in more than 100 TAG
Heuer boutiques and 150 carefully selected retailers across the world. The list of points
of sale can be viewed at tagheuerconnected.com [http://www.tagheuer.com ]
The FacesÂ
Along with the launch of the watch itself, TAG Heuer also unveiled an exclusive
collection of watch faces co-designed by 10 prestigious ambassadors for the "TAG Heuer
Connected" watch.
Cristiano Ronaldo (Football), David Guetta and the Nervo Sisters (Music), Tom Brady
(American Football), Kei Nishikori (Tennis), Giancarlo Stanton (Baseball), Jeremy Lin
(Basketball), Jessica Korda (Golf), G.E.M. (Music) et Kai Lenny (Surf); all of them wanted
to be involved in the adventure and the success that is the "TAG Heuer Connected" watch.
They all took a pencil and - together with Jean-Claude Biver, TAG Heuer CEO &
President of the LVMH Watch Division - designed a watch face which is not only
personalized and exclusive, but also contains cues to their individual universe. Â As a
result, 11 original watch face designs developed exclusively for the "TAG Heuer Connected
" watch are now available on the exclusive TAG Heuer Connected app. Â
The TAG Heuer Connected Watch will only be available exclusively with our partner Al
Majed Group on the TAG Heuer stand during the DJWF until its official Middle-East launch
in Spring 2016. Â

Attensity Europe, the leading provider of interaction solutions, is now trading as
Sematell. The move sees the specialist provider of contact centre software reaffirm its
independence and repositioning following the firm's carve-out from its American parent
company in January 2016.
Software intelligence for contact centres
The name Sematell is a blend of the words "semantic" and "intelligence" and the verb
"to tell". In choosing this branding, the Saarbruecken software company is both alluding
to its roots and looking to the future. The company was long based at the German Research
Center for Artificial Intelligence, where it worked with the host institution to jointly
develop the outstanding categorisation algorithm that has been constantly refined ever
since and finds application in the ReplyOne (previously Respond) response management
solution. The software provider's future direction is also clearly expressed in its choice
of name: Â
"With ReplyOne we are already one of Europe's leading solution providers for written
customer communications. This is a position we plan to reinforce and expand upon with
solutions on the basis of artificial intelligence," explained Thomas Dreikauss, CEO of
Sematell GmbH. "Our goal is to be the technology and market leader in this specialised
field. We are well on the way to achieving that objective with our innovative solutions as
a newly independent company."
Respond renamed ReplyOneÂ
The central response management solution, Respond, has also been rebranded and now
goes by the name of ReplyOne. The omni-channel platform for written customer
communications is based on flexible system architecture, making it easy to integrate in
both upstream and downstream systems, including ERP, CRM and knowledge management systems.
The response management solution offers highly scalable, multi-client processing of
all written communications channels including social media. Incoming queries are analysed
at speeds of up to 3,000 words per second in more than 40 languages, compared against data
from third-party systems and answered concisely with the desired degree of automation.
ReplyOne's capacity for fast and precise responses not only eliminates potential sources
of error, thereby ensuring much higher customer satisfaction levels, but, as an integral
element of strategic customer experience management, also helps companies to maximise
their profitability and competitiveness.
Sematell is premiering its rebranding and innovative new solutions on the ReplyOne
platform at the CCW, the International Conference and Trade Show on the Customer Service,
Communication and Contact Centre Industry, taking place in Berlin from 23 to 25 February,
where it will be showcasing its offering in hall 3, booth E12/F9.

Huawei and Deutsche Telekom Demonstrate 5G E2E Network Slicing Technology
BARCELONA, Spain, Feb. 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Huawei and Deutsche Telekom showed world's first 5G E2E network slicing demo on the opening day of Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The joint demo was conducted in Deutsche Telekom's 5G:haus lab based in Bonn, Germany, and aims to validate network slicing technology, which can create network slice on demand in each given application scenario with high flexibility and efficiency for the future-coming diversity 5G applications.
The 5G E2E network slicing implementation, based on Huawei's service oriented architecture, has been designed to enable end-to-end network slicing through basic core network modularization and control plane/user plane separation. The core network and RAN interface are specified and implemented to support real end-to-end network slicing. For slice lifecycle management and slice monitoring, a slice manager to both the RAN and CN has been produced.
The joint demo shows the potential of the innovation of "one physical network, multiple industry service" and the flexibility and efficiency of 5G network architecture, which is one of the key enablers of business' successful collaboration with leading partners.
"Huawei is investing in tremendous innovation efforts into 5G key enabling technology," said David Wang, president of Huawei Wireless Network. "5G network slicing can enable a unified physical network infrastructure to support multiple industry services, including mobile broadband and vertical sectors. We will devote more effort to transforming the advanced innovation technologies into the best user experience for our customers."
"Network Slicing is envisioned for 5G in order to provide an efficient enablement of the highly versatile network characteristics that will be required to connect different industries, as well as the mass mobile broadband-like connectivity that our customers will demand," adds Bruno Jacobfeuerborn, Chief Technology Officer, Deutsche Telekom. "We show that these capabilities can be provided as on-demand network services for diverging use cases."
Deutsche Telekom and Huawei collaborate in joint innovation and testing 5G system technologies, including air-interface and network architecture. Due to its 6 years of experience on 5G R&D, Huawei has achieved a wealth of experience in research and field tests. Huawei will team up with more partners in the industry to build the emerging 5G ecosystem and push forward the development of 5G.
