These products feature a higher integration level of design that allows for a more economic cost structure for the GSM/GPRS multimedia handsets, which meet the growing demand for low-end mobile phones in both domestic and overseas emerging markets.

The SC6610 and SC6620 possess Spreadtrum's highly integrated design, and also combine PMU, multimedia accelerator, touch screen controller, backlight controller, 16M/32M pSRAM, and up to four SIM card interfaces into one chip. These solutions allow for significantly reduced handset design complexity, yet still offer customers rich multimedia features. Record Number of Pennsylvania Taxpayers File Electronically

HARRISBURG, Pa., May 19, 2011/PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- A record 4.2 million 2010 personal income tax returns were filed electronically, the Department of Revenue said today.

The electronically filed returns represent roughly 69 percent of all returns filed to date. The state has received 19 percent more tax returns electronically so far this year compared to the total number of similarly filed returns last year.

"Electronic filing is a win-win for taxpayers: it lets filers receive refunds more quickly while saving state government $3.18 in processing costs per return," said Secretary of Revenue Daniel Meuser. "Electronic filing is more efficient for the department, which benefits all Pennsylvania taxpayers, and it provides enhanced customer service through error-reducing automatic calculators, faster refunds and direct-deposit options."

Taxpayers who use e-file options may have refunds deposited directly into bank accounts or pay balances due electronically. This year, more than 934,000 taxpayers chose to directly deposit refunds; more than 292,000 paid taxes through electronic funds transfer; and more than 17,000 individuals paid state taxes by credit card.

Personally, I'm thrilled about it since it's never been clear before. Everyone should know exactly which information of theirs that they're giving up.

Microsoft doesn't need to offer these for free since they're still the number one selling console. PCs on the other hand, aren't such a hot item. People just aren't seeing reasons to upgrade to something newer than they already have as quickly as they used to. So, I guess Microsoft figures they'd give them a little incentive. It sure kicks the crap out of Apple's free iPod. Why didn't they have this around when I was still going to school? Damn.....

This was released a while ago, but I never posted it as news. I don't like T-Mobile in a few respects, but I thought this was awesome. T-Mobile won't charge for the ability to make calls over WiFi! So, you won't use precious minutes when you're calling over WiFi. From what I understand, you have to log into My T-Mobile and add it to your plan though. So if you have a WiFi enabled phone from T-Mobile you should add the feature immediately. I intend to....

The 2011 plans build upon the improvements AT&T completed in 2010 to strengthen its Tucson area mobile broadband network, including:

    --  Installing more than 10 new cell sites.
    --  Upgrading cell sites for mobile broadband.
    --  Adding spectrum carriers to more than 100 cell sites.
    --  Deploying a DAS network at a luxury resort.

The investments made in the Tucson area wireless and wireline networks are part of the nearly $425 million AT&T invested from 2008-2010 across Arizona, Fuentes said.
