Certs 4 Less Announces 75% Price Reduction on GeoTrust Extended Validation (EV) SSL Certificates
Certs 4 Less, a GeoTrust Gold Partner, announces price reductions of over $700 for a single year GeoTrust True BusinessID Extended Validation SSL Certificate - This limited-time price reduction will allow small-to-midsize companies to boost online productivity and sales by providing secure, trustworthy transactions.
CHATSWORTH, Calif., July 13 -- SSL Certificate provider Certs 4 Less announced today that they will be reducing the cost of GeoTrust's flagship online security product, the True BusinessID EV SSL Certificate, by nearly 80% in a promotion that will run through the end of August 2010.
How an Extended Validation Certificate Increases Online Success
Internet users have become more concerned about the safety of their information as they provide information online, and rightly so. Identity theft affects more than 10 million victims a year. Websites employing Extended Validation (EV) SSL Certificates alter the viewer's web experience by turning the address bar green. This "green bar" assures the viewer that the site is secure and that its owner has been verified by an independent, third-party. Studies have shown that when web users know they can trust the site, they are more comfortable providing personal information and are more likely to complete forms or make purchases.
Extended Uses of Extended Validation Certificates
EV Certificates have been utilized routinely by high-volume online stores, but with the wider spectrum of services available online, the market for EV certificates is growing exponentially. Eric Holtzman, President of Certs 4 Less had this to say. "The ability to guarantee online privacy is an issue that affects more than just online merchants. Companies and Organizations involved in Healthcare, Banking, Insurance and Education, need to assure users, that their websites collect data securely. Without that trust, and comfort level, your website can never reach its true potential." Speaking about the GeoTrust promotion, Mr. Holtzman remarked, "Being able to offer the highest level of security available from a top-tier company like GeoTrust for less than $200 a year is a real game-changer for many organizations and we're excited to be part of it."

LifeShield Security Introduces the First National, All Digital, Wireless Home Security System Featuring Mobile Alerts and No Annual Contracts
LifeShield Offers Better Protection, Reliability, and Superior Control at Half the Cost Compared to Traditional Analog-Based Security Systems
YARDLEY, Pa., July 13 -- LifeShield Security(TM) (http://www.LifeShield.com), the first national, all digital, professional grade and professionally monitored wireless home security system, today officially launched its next generation home security system with sophisticated encrypted wireless technology that allows for easy set-up, a significantly lower cost of ownership and free, customizable monitoring options.
The LifeShield system was designed to address a variety of home security needs and offers multiple use benefits. It is completely wireless and ideal for all types of people, including renters, homeowners and small business owners. LifeShield also boasts superior protection as well as the best value in total home security.
"LifeShield is built on a wireless technology platform so it can be easily installed without the need for drilling or hard wiring," said Michael Hagan, CEO, LifeShield. "Because it is wireless and scalable to any size home or apartment, large or small, rented or owned, empowered consumers can now choose this less expensive, less binding option than the traditional wired systems that require pricey installers, binding contracts, landlord permission and high monthly fees."
Because of its completely wireless platform, LifeShield is able to offer features never before associated with national home security systems. Users can customize alerting options and monitor their home or small business from anywhere in the world they have access to the internet - such as a laptop computer or mobile phone device - and customers don't pay extra for fire monitoring, web and phone access, and text/email notifications.
Louis Stilp, founder and COO said, "Multiple devices throughout the home stay in constant communication so there is no single control panel for a burglar to disable. With 20 U.S. patents for home security technology, no other system is better designed to fully leverage broadband connectivity."
The LifeShield Difference
LifeShield provides the lowest total cost of home security with no annual contract and gives customers better protection, reliability, and superior control compared to traditional analog-based security systems. The system also gives three-layers of backup protection that allows it to remain working even if the customer's internet is down, there is a power outage, or if the phone lines are cut. Round-the-clock monitoring is offered through Guardian Protection Services, one of the largest security monitoring companies in the U.S.
LifeShield offers customizable home monitoring and alerting features that allow users to:
-- power the system by turning it on or off remotely to let workers or
visitors in;
-- activate the security system and panic feature from the backyard or
porch;
-- receive an alert when your child or pet sitter come in or go out;
-- control and monitor access to another home (such as an elderly
parent's home or second home);
-- monitor areas within the home such as medicine chest, jewelry drawer
or liquor cabinet;
-- view instant weather forecasts.
"Over 99% of security companies are small, local or serve customers in just a few areas. LifeShield's wireless system, with its technologically-advanced safety features offered at half the price, makes us the clear stand-out among the few other nationwide security companies still using old technology and pricey, hard-wired installations," noted Hagan. "Simply put, no other security company - national or local - can compete with us when it comes to price, safety features and customizable monitoring options."
"According to Security4movers.com, an American home is broken into nearly every 15 seconds, yet only 17% of homes actually have a home security system. LifeShield offers everyone - no matter the type of home - the opportunity to protect themselves and their investments at a much more affordable rate," added Stilp.
For a limited time, new customers can enjoy a 30-day risk-free trial and Pay-As-You-Go pricing with no annual contract. Tradequicker Launches a Binary Options Website Specifically for the North American Market
Finally, the North American Market can Trade Binary Options Through a Website that is User-Friendly and Sophisticated - and Most of all, Made for North America
NEW YORK, July 13 -- Tradequicker has launched their new website, which allows traders and standard internet surfers alike to trade binary options online. Choosing SpotOption's technology to empower the website, Tradequicker has a state-of-the-art trading engine, with an extremely user-friendly interface for a simple and pleasant trading experience. Providing traders with news, live chat, analysis, and trading tips, Tradequicker equips traders with all the tools necessary to make the most educated predictions possible.
Binary Options (also known as Digital Options, all-or-nothing options, or FROs) has made a breakthrough in 2008, and the easily accessible online environment has made internet trading a hit. Growing at an extremely rapid pace, online binary options is expected to become a record-breaking industry due to the simplicity and safe nature of the trade. Unlike traditional Forex trading, binary options merely requires traders to predict the direction the price an asset (such as a currency, commodity, stock, or index) will go by a designated expiry date. They never have to purchase the asset, they simply anticipate if the price will rise or fall from the current price. The risk is minimal, because the trader decides from the start how much to invest. If they predict correctly, they receive their initial investment plus the sum that was decided in the contract. If they predict incorrectly, they will lose a portion of their investment (also determined in the contract). The odds are high, the concept is simple, and traders enjoy the high profits and attractiveness of the model.
Tradequicker offers a unique trading experience, with new and exciting features which can be found within the website. "To celebrate the commencement of our new website, we are offering bonuses of up to 50% on initial deposits," says Michael Clark, VP Sales of Tradequicker. "The Tradequicker site is based on simplicity, reliability, and providing the North American market with a satisfying trading platform that offers them maximum profitability."

Comcast Launches High-Speed 2go Wireless Data Service in 10 Additional Eastern Division Markets
OAKS, Pa., July 13 -- Comcast Corporation, one of the nation's leading providers of entertainment, information, and communications products and services, announced the launch of its high-speed wireless data service in 10 additional Eastern Division markets today as the company continues its nationwide rollout of High-Speed 2go(TM).
Comcast's High-Speed 2go is a mobile Internet solution that provides the fastest available wireless Internet speeds in the nation via wireless data cards. Launched last year in Philadelphia, High-Speed 2go is now also available in the following Eastern Division markets: Baltimore, Richmond, Washington, D.C. and the Pennsylvania markets of Harrisburg, York, Scranton, Reading, Lancaster, State College and Lebanon.
Comcast's High-Speed 2go offers a fourth-generation or 4G wireless service in addition to a nationwide 3G wireless service. Comcast will be selling this wireless service bundled with one or more of its popular Internet, phone and television products, providing mobile broadband wherever and whenever customers need to be connected.
"The world-class services Comcast is known for in the home are beginning to be extended to anywhere consumers work, live and play with the launch of Comcast's High-Speed 2go mobile solution," said Rick Lang, senior vice president of marketing and sales for Comcast's Eastern Division. "Comcast continues to drive innovation in the industry and this launch gives customers the best of both worlds -- the fastest fast at home and on the go as a natural extension of our super fast wired high-speed Internet."
Comcast is currently selling two different data cards and service plans in the new markets:
-- High-Speed 2go Nationwide (3G) service uses a 3G-only data card giving
customers nationwide wireless service. The 3G-only device operates on
Sprint's national 3G network.
-- High-Speed 2go Nationwide Preferred (4G/3G) service delivers the
fastest metro 4G service plus coast-to-coast access on Sprint's
national 3G network. The 4G/3G device operates by switching between
available 4G and 3G networks.
In addition, some areas like Philadelphia are now offering High-Speed 2go Metro (4G) service, using a 4G-only data card to give customers the fastest wireless service within the 4G metro coverage area. The 4G device operates only in a 4G network footprint.
Bundled Pricing
For the first time, consumers will have access to both the fastest wired and wireless Internet in the nation -- sold together at launch as a "Fast Pack" for as low as $54.99 per month for one year. Both new and existing Comcast customers will be eligible for special bundled pricing, with Comcast High-Speed Internet customers receiving 4G wireless or 3G wireless as an add-on for as low as $40 per month. Visit http://www.comcast.com/highspeed2go for additional pricing plans and service packages. *
The Fast Pack Nationwide (3G) service, for as low as $54.99, includes Comcast's 12 Mbps home Internet service; a free WiFi router for mobility and extended coverage in the home; and nationwide 3G mobile network access. For an additional $15 per month, consumers can upgrade to the Fast Pack Nationwide Preferred (4G/3G) service that includes the Fast Pack Metro 4G service plus nationwide 3G mobile Internet access. Where available, the $54.99 Fast Pack Metro (4G) service includes Comcast's home Internet service with speeds up to 12 Mbps; a free WiFi router for mobility and extended coverage in the home; and 4G service that will provide 3 to 6 Mbps average download speeds when customers are on the go.
Comcast is selling wireless data services following its investment in Clearwire in November 2008. Comcast's 4G service will be provided via the Clearwire network, and its 3G service will be provided by Sprint's nationwide 3G network. Comcast is one of the first investors in Clearwire to bring a service to market and expects that it will continue to add value to existing bundled products.

Ten years ago, Patelco represented the first mobile banking deployment of any financial institution in the United States, and I'm proud to say Patelco was also the first mobile banking deployment in the USA using MShift technology. Today, this person-to-person mobile payment launched by Patelco utilizing the MShift platform enabling full integration with the CashEdge Popmoney technology demonstrates that Patelco still leads the market; enabling their members to have the ability to initiate and send payments to any individual, right from their mobile phone, and have this powerful feature of mobile P2P payments fully integrated into their mobile banking platform provided by MShift."

U.S. Foodservice Helps Restaurants Grow With Innovative Trends and Menu Options
Distributor Provides Tips and Trends for Pork and Poultry
ROSEMONT, Ill., July 13 -- U.S. Foodservice, one of the nation's largest food distributors, is gearing up for the grilling season by providing restaurants with tips on how to make their grill and business sizzle. Restaurant operators can visit foodsight(TM)(http://www.usfoodsight.com) to learn new ways to incorporate pork and poultry into their menu through helpful articles and recipes, and by viewing videos of cooking demonstrations.
"Restaurant operators need to keep up with current trends to grow their business," said Pat Mulhern, president, Monarch Food Group, U.S. Foodservice. "The foodsight website provides foodservice professionals the information they need to maximize their menu potential, keep their menu fresh and entice new customers."
This quarter, foodsight is focusing on the hottest trends in pork and poultry. Restaurant operators can learn how to increase sales by incorporating popular trends like ethnic accents, chili peppers and fruit notes into their pork and poultry dishes. Foodsight also features information on how to spice up your dishes by:
-- Increasing the culture of your barbecue: While barbecue will always be
America's favorite flavor for pork and chicken--it has evolved into a
whole family of tastes. Attention has shifted to barbecue variations
from other cultures ranging from Caribbean/Latin flavors to Korean.
-- Incorporating small plates: Americans are moving away from "three
square meals" and toward more snacking, and we're seeing a
proliferation of bar and snack menus. Smaller-bite menus offer diners
what they want while bringing in additional between-meals revenue for
operators.
-- Re-thinking chicken dishes: As consumers expand their culinary
horizons to include bolder and more nuanced flavors, operators are
rethinking familiar chicken entree salads with smoky-hot chipotle,
piquant fruit notes or new Asian accents.
"Foodsight focuses on some of the most intuitive research in the food industry, and is based on our 150 years of experience helping our customers succeed," added Mulhern.
Visitors also have access to the latest in sustainable packaging, fresh produce options and sell sheets as well as various rebates. For more information, on the latest foodservice trends, visit http://www.usfoodsight.com.

Internet2 and NOAA Partner To Provide New High Capacity National Research Network
New NWave Network To Support 80 Terabytes of Climate Research Data Per Day
ANN ARBOR, Mich., July 13 -- Internet2 and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) today announced a partnership to deploy a highly reliable, high capacity nationwide network that will serve to significantly enhance the capabilities of NOAA's researchers and their partners across the country.
Funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), the new high capacity research network called "NWave" will be built on a set of 10-Gigabit per second dedicated waves on the national Internet2 Network. The network waves will be used to provide dedicated, high speed, and high capacity connection between climate and weather researchers and NOAA's key high performance computing sites across the nation.
Climate scientists around the country leverage these HPC resources to understand, predict, and explain changes in climate. This is accomplished by developing and applying state-of-the-art, computationally intensive coupled climate models for advancing climate research, predicting climate from weeks to decades, and projecting future climate out to several centuries. These climate predictions and projections are expected to generate approximately 80 terabytes of data per day to support decision makers regionally to globally with timely and authoritative information. NWave provides the critical high capacity network links that can support these large data flows between sites as well as provide the capabilities to allow NOAA scientists the ability to easily share computational resources with the U.S. Department of Energy and other U.S. government agencies.
"NOAA is a world leader in understanding and predicting the earth's environment through its global network of observations, advanced modeling, and weather and climate research," said Joe Klimavicz, CIO and director of high performance computing and communications at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. "This new high speed research network will greatly increase our ability to transparently access large volumes of higher resolution and more complex climate and weather analyses, predictions and projections."
"The Internet2 community is excited to be an enabler of NOAA's critical climate and weather research. The Internet2 Network will connect researchers across the country to the high-performance computing resources that are an absolute requirement for the kinds of distributed, collaborative environmental observations and analyses that will unleash the next wave of discoveries about our natural world," said Rob Vietzke, Internet2 executive director of network services.
NWave will be backed by the operational expertise of the Indiana University Global Research Network Operations Center (GRNOC), which will provide 24x7x365 professional network support as it does for the Internet2 Network and other advanced research and education networks in the country.
ABOUT INTERNET2
Internet2 is an advanced networking consortium led by the research and education community. An exceptional partnership spanning U.S. and international institutions who are leaders in the worlds of research, academia, industry and government, Internet2 is developing breakthrough cyberinfrastructure technologies that support the most exacting applications of today -- and spark the most essential innovations of tomorrow. Led by its members and focused on their current and future networking needs since 1996, Internet2 blends its human, IP and optical networks to develop and deploy revolutionary Internet technologies. Roskill Information Services: LCD Screens Continue to Drive Iodine Demand
LONDON, July 13, 2010--
- Iodine: Global Industry Markets and Outlook (10th edition, 2010)
Global demand for iodine, an essential component in the manufacture of
optical polarising film (OPF) for LCD screens, grew by almost 6%py between
2000 and 2008. Recession-proof human health applications, such as X-ray
contrast media, biocides, nutrition and pharmaceuticals, provided a buffer
against the impact of the global economic downturn on the iodine market,
however its industrial uses were not immune and overall demand declined by
12% in 2009.
Increased demand from Asia, where consumption rose by 15%py from 2000 to
2009, has been the key driver for growth. Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and,
more recently, China have become leading centres of OPF manufacture, with
companies like Nitto Denko, Sumitomo and LG Chem serving local LCD screen
manufacturers. Demand for iodine in the manufacture of OPF has increased by
22%py since 2000 and now accounts for 12% of total consumption.
Rising GDP in China, and other Asian countries, has meant increased
spending on human health related products, boosting iodine consumption in
X-ray contrast media, biocide and pharmaceuticals. Meanwhile, expansion in
manufacturing output has led to growth in industrial uses for iodine, such as
catalysts. In industrialised economies, however, demand for iodine has been
flat or shown only a slight improvement due to the maturity of iodine
products in the market and limited OPF capacity.
Future demand for iodine, forecast to grow at 3.5%py over the next five
years, will continue to be led by OPF for LCD screens. X-ray contrast media
for radiology and biocides for human health are also likely to show strong
growth. Emerging economies will provide the best opportunities for iodine
demand growth, while the outlook in developed economies is more uncertain as
recovery from the global economic downturn becomes more protracted.
World production of iodine remains highly concentrated in Chile and
Japan, with SQM, Cosayach, Ise Chemicals and Godo Shigen accounting for
around two-thirds of installed capacity and a similar level of production.
The relative ease of processing caliche with high iodine content in Chile,
and iodine-rich brines associated with natural gas extraction in Japan, are
the main factors contributing to the leading position of these two countries
in world iodine supply. Smaller amounts of iodine are also extracted from
brines in the USA and the CIS.
Volumes of secondary iodine, sourced mainly from recycling waste OPF
films and used X-ray contrast media, is growing. However, much of this
material remains in a closed-loop between end-users and crude iodine
producers, or is recycled by the end-users themselves. Secondary iodine is
estimated to have accounted for around 14% of total supply in 2009, up from
9% in 2006.
China has limited iodine resources with almost all production coming as a
by-product of seaweed processing, a technique long abandoned in the west.
Production from phosphate rock has been commercialised in recent years, but
it is unlikely that China's output of crude iodine will increase appreciably
in the future. Producers in Chile, Japan, the USA and the CIS are likely to
take advantage of China's domestic supply shortfall to boost iodine export
sales. China, and other emerging market, demand growth will continue to be
the stimulus for capacity expansions worldwide.
Since 2000, over 10,000tpy of new iodine capacity has been opened in
Chile, with smaller amounts added in the USA, Azerbaijan, Iran and China.
Total world capacity increased by only 8,700tpy however, as several plants
have also been closed. Future expansion is dominated by plans to expand
capacity in these same countries, most notably in Chile and the USA.
Crude output of iodine increased by 10,300t between 2000 and 2009, faster
than the rise in new capacity, meaning available capacity became tight
towards the end of the decade. Utilisation rates at iodine plants increased
and, combined with higher input costs, falling stock levels and surging
demand, prices increased almost two-fold. Despite the downturn in demand in
2009, prices have stayed buoyant, mainly as a result of the small number of
producers controlling much of the world's iodine supply.

SunGard Creates Solvency II and Enterprise Risk Management Framework in Collaboration with Microsoft and HP
ATLANTA, July 13 -- SunGard has created a new enterprise risk management (ERM) framework that will help support insurance companies' Solvency II (SII) compliance initiatives. In collaboration with Microsoft and HP, SunGard has identified and packaged technology components and consulting services that can help insurance customers define and implement a comprehensive ERM technology framework that supports SII requirements. The framework comprises SunGard's iWorks ERM solution, HP's consulting services and infrastructure portfolio, and Microsoft's HPC and SQL servers.
The new framework, which was unveiled today at Microsoft's Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC2010) in Washington, DC, will provide customers with a single ERM roadmap. The technology components are configurable to customers' unique requirements, and include hardware, software, and actuarial, data management and implementation support. Identifying a configurable combination of solution and services helps customers eliminate the time-consuming and detailed process of defining and sourcing the components needed to build an ERM discipline across an organization.
The framework will help insurers obtain a view of risk across business silos and help them comply with SII. SII is an initiative affecting life, non-life and reinsurers operating in the European Union, which will set out by 2012 new, strengthened EU-wide requirements for capital adequacy and risk management. Today, most insurers manage risk data within each discipline without a cohesive view of the exposure throughout the business.
"Solvency II continues to be an evolving mandate of critical importance for carriers globally," said Craig Weber, senior vice president of Celent's insurance practice. "The combined assets of SunGard, Microsoft and HP give carriers a compelling, holistic option to consider as they strengthen the technology and services they have to support Solvency II initiatives."
In addition to SunGard's enterprise risk management solution, iWorks Prophet Enterprise, the ERM framework includes SunGard's actuarial, business process management, analytics and business intelligence capabilities to support the governance and control requirements of Solvency II. SunGard also brings consulting services, providing best practices in ERM solutions implementation.
"It is our view that Solvency II compliance represents the first step in building a comprehensive ERM infrastructure," said Greg Webber, president of SunGard's insurance business. "Our collaboration with Microsoft and HP offers a unique combination of risk management solutions, services and technology infrastructure that can form the foundation for a robust ERM strategy for insurers worldwide."
SunGard's iWorks Prophet will be deployed on HP infrastructure technology, including desktops, servers and storage. HP's business intelligence, application modernization and business transformation services complement the solution and offer capabilities that bring the scale as well as local business expertise to support customers globally.
"As the 2012 deadline for Solvency II compliance approaches, insurance institutions in the European Union will require enhanced capacity to store, identify, retrieve and manage data to meet the requirements of SII," said Wayne Lewin, executive director, Insurance Segment, HP. "HP's in-depth experience in business transformation and data management will help SunGard provide fast, effective and consistent support to insurers."
Microsoft's HPC Server and SQL Server provide the platform and database for the solution that will help insurers accelerate risk modeling calculations by balancing the workload over a large grid of processors. Microsoft's Windows HPC Server 2008 helps insurers reduce the cost and complexity of running large scale clusters or grids, and the successful completion of the 1024-core lab test demonstrates its capacity to perform at scale as calculation and data requirements grow. SQL Server provides data management, while Microsoft SQL Server Data Analytics Services supplies the analytics capabilities. Microsoft Office Excel and Power Pivot deliver management dashboards as well as actuarial and regulatory reporting capabilities.
"The new SunGard ERM framework on a high-performance Microsoft platform is an excellent example of the success of our partnership approach in meeting our insurance industry customers' most demanding business challenges in today's difficult regulatory environment," said Karen Cone, Microsoft's newly appointed general manager of its Worldwide Financial Services Sector at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference. "The combination of iWorks Prophet Enterprise and Microsoft's Windows HPC Server 2008 will help insurers build the actuarial models that are critical to manage enterprise risks in more volatile markets, while at the same time satisfying increasingly stringent regulatory requirements. Our success in meeting even the most demanding business needs of our financial services customers can be measured in Microsoft's growing momentum in our insurance industry partner ecosystem."
The announcement was made at Microsoft's Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) 2010. WPC2010 is Microsoft's premier event for the partner community to learn about Microsoft's road map and best practices for the year, and gain exclusive access to connect and network with other partners and Microsoft employees. WPC2010, held July 12-15 in Washington, D.C., will showcase Microsoft's growing momentum in its partner ecosystems worldwide.

New, Independently Produced Series Starring John Schneider ranks among most popular comedies on Hulu, and is selected as ITVFest finalist
AVALON, Calif., July 13 -- The 26-mile ferry ride to Catalina Island off the coast of California can be rough - not unlike some television reviewers. But when visitors arrive, sink their feet into its silvery-grey sand, take in the natural beauty, and discover the dynamic between its infamous party scene and the daily dramas of its residents, that's when the fun begins.
The new original series "twentysixmiles" has become an audience favorite on Hulu. The series, filmed in Catalina, has been so popular on Hulu that it has spent five straight weeks in its Top 30 Most Subscribed Comedies and Top 50 Most Popular Comedies. With fans begging for more episodes, the finale of the series' initial six-episode run was aired on Tuesday, June 29, continuing its streak as one of Hulu's most popular shows. Now fans are demanding DVD's of the six episodes.
As "twentysixmiles" grows as a fan favorite, it has also gained critical acclaim. The series has been selected as a finalist at the prestigious Independent Television Festival, in Los Angeles, July 30.
Created and executive produced by Rob Miller (Tower 17 Productions), "twentysixmiles" stars John Schneider, best-known as Bo Duke on "The Dukes of Hazzard" and recently from ABC Family's "Secret Life of the American Teenager." Schneider stars as Jack Kincaid, a successful investment executive forced to reevaluate his life in the wake of a divorce. When his ex-wife Keri (Jessica Tuck) decides to raise their teenage children in a less stressful environment, Catalina Island, Jack trades his wing-tips for flip-flops to follow them, become a better father, and pursue a forgotten dream of his own - reuniting a college band with the help of his best friend and former brother-in-law Sean Murphy (Eric Lange), the de-facto "honorary mayor" of Catalina.
With more than 900 million views per month, Hulu leads the way in the premium online video revolution, recently venturing into original programming with reality shows like Simon Fuller's "If I Can Dream" and episodic series as "twentysixmiles."

Social News Aggregator iSpotaStory.com Relaunches as Spotery.com with Enhanced Social Features
Revamped site combines content curation and social news
NEW YORK, July 13 -- iSpotaStory.com, a human-edited social news aggregator, today announced its relaunch as Spotery.com, following a seven-month public beta testing. The Spotery management team is unveiling a completely redesigned site with several new and enhanced social features, including a live-stream of user-submitted stories, profile pages where users ("spoters") can follow and be followed and a simple "spot bar" that auto-populates stories and embeds videos.
"Much has changed with the new site, but what hasn't changed is our use of professionally-trained editors who curate the day's top stories," said Spotery founder and CEO Limor Elkayam. "With the site taking a more social direction, we felt a name change was in order. The enhancements and new features reflect the indicated preferences of our visitors."
Spotery's new features include:
-- A simplified method of adding links via a "spot bar" that
automatically generates a title, description and image, and
auto-embeds videos from many popular video-sharing sites
-- The ability to add additional related links to any story
-- Profile pages that have a news feed of all the stories that the people
users follow are spotting
-- Revamped story pages showing a pane of who spotted the same story
-- Added Geek Bonus -- Vanity URLS: all usernames live under
Spotery.com/Username
Spotery combines social news and content curation. Spotery's editors monitor and filter stories submitted to the site and promote content to the homepage and respective category pages. In the process, they help create a water cooler cheat-sheet of the day's top news.
At the same time, users can submit stories, without diluting or controlling the site's content. Each user's profile page has a feed of all the stories they and the people they follow have submitted. Spotery also gives users the ability to personalize the site by sharing the content they find interesting, thus building their own social news ecosystem.
Visitors to Spotery can read the editorially-selected news, add related links to stories already on the site, follow the live-stream of all submitted links, submit their own stories or follow other users.
"We recognize that the future of news on the Web will continue to overload consumers with information. We want to help people filter through the status updates and find what is valuable and interesting to them by providing an editorially-enhanced platform to find and share the day's top news."
Spotery was founded as iSpotaStory in January 2009, and launched in beta in December 2009. Blending editorially-selected and user-submitted content, Spotery offers readers a unique view of the day's top trending and most discussed stories from around the Web, covered from every angle. By utilizing a human-edited news aggregation system, Spotery ensures that influential users or specific groups cannot influence or dilute the flow of content, giving readers a more trusted and streamlined view of the day's top news.
Metastorm Releases New Smart Business Workspace for EA, BPA and BPM
Metastorm Smart Business Workspace uses mashups and widgets to enable a true personalized, role-based user experience across applications
BALTIMORE, July 13 -- Metastorm, a leading provider of Business Process Management (BPM), Business Process Analysis (BPA), and Enterprise Architecture (EA) software for aligning strategy with execution, today announced the release of Metastorm Smart Business Workspace - a rich internet application that empowers knowledge workers to become more engaged and productive and to collaborate more easily with colleagues to make smarter business decisions. Metastorm Smart Business Workspace is designed to deliver personalization at an individual level, allow users to engage in skills-based collaboration with people regardless of location, and empower users to leverage the information and functions of Metastorm's enterprise software and other applications from a single, role-driven user interface.
The Metastorm Enterprise software portfolio is recognized by the top industry analyst firms and by its customers as a leading technology suite across the three disciplines of EA, BPA and BPM, and has received accolades for both the breadth and depth of its functionality. The software enables organizations to model, visualize and improve the entire enterprise and to realize these improvements through integrated execution. Metastorm Smart Business Workspace transforms the power of Metastorm's enterprise software into a highly personalized user experience that results in faster, easier access to information and a more productive, agile work environment regardless of the user's role.
Metastorm Smart Business Workspace was designed from the ground up to meet the needs of today's information worker. According to an independent September 2009 Forrester Research, Inc. report titled, The Importance of Matching BPM Tools to the Process, "Design-for-people requirements place the businessperson's work at the center of business applications' human interface. The businessperson's work is the organizing structure for a workplace into which we plug transactions, business processes, content, unified communications, social networking, and tools. Instead of people having to figure out how to apply collaboration tools to their jobs, ad hoc activities are integrated with structured work in these unitary, contextual workplaces."
Key capabilities and benefits of Metastorm Smart Business Workspace include:
-- Highly personalized user experience. Role-based views take into
account job description, skill set, knowledge base, key
responsibilities and personal preferences to go beyond traditional
role or persona-based interfaces to support very specific attributes
and preferences of users.
-- Ability to easily mash up and integrate data and applications via
widgets. Libraries of widgets related to the use of Metastorm's
enterprise business architecture, business process analysis, business
process management, and integration software are available to plug
into the Metastorm Smart Business Workspace. By allowing users to
easily mix and match information and functions across Metastorm's full
enterprise software portfolio - as well as other applications -
organizations can seamlessly deliver cross-functional insight,
planning, analysis, decision-making, and execution.
-- Social collaboration delivered in an enterprise work environment.
Social collaboration technologies such as chat, instant messaging, and
online communities are combined with a powerful ability to identify
and communicate with precisely the right set of enterprise resources
as needed at any given time. The result is a new level of
work-oriented, enterprise collaboration.
-- Widget and workspace designer tool. The Metastorm Widget Designer
enables even non-technical users to rapidly and easily create their
own widgets. Rather than simply rendering views of information and
dashboards, Metastorm has provided the ability to design and create
extremely rich, entirely new widgets and applications that include
built-in transaction support, governance and advanced external
integration capabilities.
"Metastorm Smart Business Workspace will open up a whole new world of insight and productivity for business users and give organizations the mechanism they need to finally leverage social collaboration technologies in a productive way within the enterprise," stated Kevin Haugh, vice president of product marketing and management at Metastorm. "By delivering role-based, actionable workspaces that can be personalized by each user, Metastorm Smart Business Workspace will make it easier for users to leverage critical information and powerful features of the Metastorm Enterprise software suite - from enterprise modeling to business process analysis to daily process execution and participation - and to make better, faster business decisions. In addition, the Metastorm Widget Designer will enable our extensive customer and partner base to develop new widgets on an ongoing basis. The possibilities are endless in terms of the value that can be delivered through the Metastorm Smart Business Workspace environment, and we are extremely excited by its potential."
Metastorm Smart Business Workspace and the Metastorm Widget Designer are available today. For more information and a social media version of this announcement, go to http://www.metastorm.com/news/2010/071310-msbw.asp.

Future Systems Solutions Launches Casper Secure(TM) Drive Backup 2.0 for PGP® Whole Disk Encryption
First PC Backup Solution Designed for Users of Whole Disk Encryption Technology Now Supports PGP Desktop 10; Boasts Speeds Up To 50X Faster Than Previous Version.
INDIANAPOLIS, July 13 -- Future Systems Solutions, Inc. (http://www.fssdev.com) announces Casper Secure(TM) Drive Backup 2.0 for PGP® Whole Disk Encryption, a major update to the first and only PC backup solution to confront the problems affecting users of whole disk encryption technology. While whole disk encryption technology ensures sensitive data remains fully secured on a PC, traditional backup programs and disk imaging solutions fail to deliver the same level of security for a backup, and make the recovery process unnecessarily difficult and extremely time-consuming. Designed specifically to address these problems, Casper Secure Drive Backup 2.0:
-- Creates a complete backup of a whole disk encrypted drive that retains
all of the encrypted data in its original encrypted state.
-- Creates a fully updatable backup of a whole disk encrypted drive in
one step. Other products require two separate, extremely
time-consuming steps to accomplish this.
-- Produces a backup of a whole disk encrypted drive that can be used
immediately as a complete replacement for the original, or restored to
a new drive without performing a separate, day-consuming re-encryption
step.
"In recent years, enterprises, SOHOs, and consumers have turned to whole disk encryption technology to safeguard their data. Unfortunately, standard backup tools leave confidential data unprotected on the backup, and additional, time-consuming efforts are required to separately encrypt and secure the backup. Likewise, the recovery process with these tools necessitates a separate restore and time-consuming re-encryption process that can easily require more than a day to complete. Casper Secure Drive Backup 2.0 is the only solution to create a complete backup of a whole disk encrypted drive that retains all of the encrypted data in its original encrypted state. Backups of confidential or private data cannot be accessed by unauthorized users," said a company spokesman. He added, "And because the backup of a whole disk encrypted drive can be used immediately as a complete replacement for the original, or restored to a new drive without performing a separate, day-consuming re-encryption step, recovery is fast."
Compatibility
Casper Secure Drive Backup 2.0 for PGP Whole Disk Encryption supports all versions of Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, and Windows 2000.
Pricing and Availability
Casper Secure Drive Backup for PGP Whole Disk Encryption is $89.95 and available as a download from Future Systems Solutions at http://www.fssdev.com or by calling 8002725457.
Registered owners of Casper Secure Drive Backup 1.0 for PGP Whole Disk Encryption may upgrade to Casper Secure Drive Backup 2.0 for PGP Whole Disk Encryption for $44.95. Consumers who purchased Casper Secure Drive Backup 1.0 on or after April 1, 2010 may upgrade for FREE.
Future Systems Solutions develops and markets software that makes PCs easier to use and more efficient. Game Trading Technologies, Inc. to Introduce Powerful iPhone Application to Build, Value, Manage and Trade Video Game Collections
HUNT VALLEY, Md., July 13 -- Game Trading Technologies, Inc. ("GTTI" or the "Company", OTC Bulletin Board: GMTD), a leading provider of comprehensive trading solutions for video game retailers, publishers, rental companies and consumers is pleased to announce the development of an iPhone application ("App") that allows video game players to build, value, manage, and trade their personal video game software collections.
The soon-to-be-released downloadable iPhone application named "GameBook Mobile" will allow users to input and manage their entire collection of video games and systems. GameBook Mobile utilizes GTTI's proprietary "GFI Gamebook"(TM), a market valuation technology that prices over 10,000 pre-owned video games quickly and accurately in real time.
GameBook Mobile for the iPhone will initially consist of six unique features including: Value My Games/Collection, Scan My UPC, Trade Trend Key, Trade-O-Meter, Want List and Store Locator.
Within an easy-to-use interface, Value My Games/Collection enables the user to search for games by platform, title and UPC code and build their own personal collection. As the user adds games to their collection, they are able to view the entire collection and its value. The Scan My UPC tool uses Apple's powerful iPhone camera hardware to take a picture of the UPC barcode on the back of any game, enabling the user to add the games to their iPhone game collection with just a few clicks.
Similar to trading stocks, the Trade Trend Key will display a symbol informing the user if the market value of a game or the user's entire collection is trending up quickly, up slowly, stable, down quickly or down slowly. The Trade-O-Meter tool enables the user to track which games in their collection are keepers versus games that are definite candidates for trade. Both of these tools provide real-time values and trends so that the best trading decisions can be made.
The Want List enables the App users to add video games they may want to purchase or trade for in the future. Future releases of GameBook Mobile will process a trade in order, allow for game purchases, and enable users to trade games on-line using their game collection as a form of payment for desired games and products.
The Store Locator enables the user to locate the nearest trade center partner to physically trade-in some or all of their video games for specific retailer gift cards. The App uses the iPhone's built-in GPS software or allows the user to specify their location to search for the closest trade-in partner.
"There exists pricing and demand volatility in the market for pre-owned video games and gaming systems. We have specifically designed GameBook Mobile for those millions of video gaming consumers so that they are able to make timely, well informed trade-in decisions for every title, system, and accessory they own," says Todd Hays, President Game Trading Technologies, Inc.

The PGI Accelerator programming model is a high-level implicit model similar to OpenMP for multi-core x64 systems. Using compiler directives, programmers can offload compute-intensive code regions from a host CPU to a GPU accelerator. Programs containing PGI Accelerator directives remain 100% standard-compliant and portable. PVF also supports CUDA Fortran language extensions. Defined in cooperation with NVIDIA, CUDA Fortran is an analog to the NVIDIA CUDA C compiler and gives expert programmers direct control of all aspects of GPGPU programming.
PVF includes PGI Unified Binary(TM) technology--the ability to generate a single executable file containing code sequences optimized for multiple processors from AMD, Intel and NVIDIA. PGI Unified Binary technology enables Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and custom applications developers to take advantage of the latest processor innovations while treating x64 and x64+GPU as a single platform, maximizing flexibility and eliminating the need to target and optimize for separate processors.
