GIBRALTAR, July 12, 2010-- Three-time world champion boxer Jeff Fenech (the Marrickville Mauler) has
made it to day 3 in the $10,000 main event at the World Series Of Poker in
Las Vegas. Fenech has outlasted 888poker team mate and fellow Aussie Shane
Warne, as well as the 2005 World Champion, Joe Hachem.
Fenech finished day 2 in the main event on 66,000 chips with his game
play matching that of a boxer - his aggression on the table seems to have
paid off and gave the spectators a good show. Jeff commented, "I knocked 2
people out yesterday, and they didn't get a mark on them!" His final
position on day 2 puts him at 659 out of the 1296 players who played that
day.
888poker team mate Shane Warne busted out of the main event on day 2. He
had KQ, the flop came K,2,5, and all the chips went in against an unknown
opponent. His opponent had two Aces. The turn and river were no help for
Shane, and he was eliminated from the tournament.
Team 888poker are doing well, including VIP Player Patrick Dekoster
making it to position 49 on day 2a with a stack of 197,900, and so far are
sending more than 10 players through to day three, including 888poker
ambassador and Irish champion, Padraig Parkinson.

GIBRALTAR, July 12, 2010-- Padraig Parkinson, ambassador to 888poker, has made it to day three of
the Main Event at the World Series of Poker with a healthy stack of over
153,000. The Irish professional poker player, who placed third in the 1999
WSOP has been bluffing his way at the tables posing as an architect rather
than admitting his real profession, which so far has paid off!
A turning point in Padraig's tournament came when he delivered a pivotal
knock out. Parkinson was heads-up against one opponent on a flop of K[hearts]
Q[diamonds] 7[hearts] and all the chips went into the middle creating a pot
of over 40,000. Parkinson showed Q[clubs] Q[spades] which had his opponent's
A[hearts] K[diamonds] crippled. The board finished with the 3[clubs] and then
the 2[hearts] to give Parkinson a huge pot and send his opponent to the rail.
After the hand Parkinson was up to 50,000.
Padraig is one of 11 players going through to day three for Team 888poker
out of the 120 players 888poker sent out to Vegas for this year's WSOP.

about a black princess. She created a picture book about a little, strong
willed princess called Arabella. So far only printed books about Princess
Arabella have been released and with the interactive book on iPhone, iPad and
iPod touch Arabella is becoming a really ambitious little girl.

Jane Harman's WiFi Scoff Coincides With Newsweek Bid Going Political
TORRANCE, Calif., July 12 -- On the heels of Politico and the New York Observer reporting on Harman's bid for Newsweek going "political" Jane Harman becomes the implausible victim of a WiFi security breach on the same day.
Mattie Fein, Harman's opponent for the 36th congressional district, detailed damage to freedom of the press if a Harman acquisition were to take place based on Jane Harman's strong arm tactics with the New York Times. The timing of the sinister Jane Harman cyber breach deserves closer inspection. Fein states, " I find it ridiculous that the Chair of the Subcommittee on Homeland Security and Intelligence had this type of breach with her internet security. As someone whose millions of dollars of shares in Harman International also included financial ties to a wholly-owned company until this spring, QNX software in Canada, involved in cyber security and encryption software at a top-security clearance level, the technology available to her is beyond the ordinary internet user."
Harman International is still involved with QNX after the acquisition by RIM. Fein continues, "In addition, the timing of the rumored 'breach' of Harman's WiFi oddly coincides with the pushing of the Cyber Security bill Jane Harman currently is attempting to maneuver through Congress."

Fully operational tools and resources help improve quality and reduce cost of care
NEWTOWN, Conn., July 12 -- To help health care providers in their efforts to become accountable care organizations (ACOs) and payers in developing value-based payment initiatives, the non-profit Health Care Incentives Improvement Institute(TM), Inc. (HCI3(TM)) is releasing a series of analytical tools on its new website. The resources are designed to support implementation of HCI3's two leading payment reform strategies - Bridges to Excellence® (BTE) and PROMETHEUS Payment®.

The new ECR® (Evidence-informed Case Rate) Analysis Tool enables employers, health plans and providers to examine their claims data, calculate savings opportunities, and compare potentially avoidable complication (PAC) rates for multiple chronic conditions against national and regional averages. Developed by HCI3 with support from Discern Consulting, this on-line tool enables organizations that have downloaded HCI3's freeware and analyzed their claims data to examine how efficiently health resources are being used relative to benchmarks, and prioritize quality improvement.
An ECR® is a patient-specific budget for the entire episode of medical care. It includes the prices of all covered services (hospital, physicians, pharmacy, rehabilitation facility, etc.) that would typically treat a patient for a given condition, adjusted for the severity and complexity of the patient's condition. The ECR® Analysis Tool generates an opportunity report highlighting the savings that can be achieved by reducing a population's rate of potentially avoidable complications.
In addition to the ECR Analysis Tool, HCI3's new website provides physicians with a decision-support tool to guide them in selecting a pathway to recognition in any one of the Bridges to Excellence programs. This Recognition pathway tool will also provide physicians with information on various P4P programs that support the BTE Recognitions.
The site will also serve as an educational hub for payment reform and provide technical information to support program implementations.

Anthem Expands use of Technology and Social Media to Broaden Reach to Consumers
ST. LOUIS, July 12 -- Health care reform will impact every American in some way. The question is how and when? The healthychat.com website was created to address the many questions consumers have about health insurance. Since its launch on May 1, thousands have viewed healthychat.com, creating a community forum addressing myriad health care questions.
Through the forum provided by healthychat.com consumers have a great opportunity to have their health reform questions answered, such as will my premiums go up because of health care reform? How does the health care reform legislation affect preventive care benefits? When can I add my child who is 23 back on to my health plan?

Verizon's Annual Shower for the Shelter Campaign Brings Nearly $13,000 Worth of Household Items to Assist Survivors of Domestic Violence in Virginia
Verizon Employees and the Public Collected Items and Donated Money to Support Shelters That Assist Domestic Violence Survivors; Annual Campaign Has Collected More Than $1.3 Million in Items Nationwide Since 2007
RICHMOND, Va., July 12 -- Nearly $13,000 worth of clothing, personal items and household supplies have been donated to 17 domestic violence shelters across Virginia, thanks to the generosity of Verizon employees, customers and the public.
The Verizon Foundation partnered with the National Network to End Domestic Violence to organize a collection drive at more than 300 Verizon-employee locations across the country - including 21 locations in Virginia - to support 185 domestic violence shelters nationwide.
Verizon employees and members of the public took part in the drive, the annual Shower for the Shelter campaign, to collect needed clothing, personal items and household supplies for shelters that serve survivors of domestic violence. The public was invited to take part in the campaign by making a tax-deductible, online contribution to the National Network to End Domestic Violence at http://www.nnedv.org/verizon.
This was the Verizon Foundation's fourth annual Shower for the Shelter campaign, and the first open to the public. Since the campaign's launch in October 2007, Verizon employees have collected more than $1.3 million worth of household items to benefit survivors of domestic violence.
"On behalf of domestic violence programs across Virginia, 'thank you' to the Verizon Shower for Shelter Campaign for supporting the shelters as they strive to provide safety for victims of domestic violence and their children," said Kristi VanAudenhove, co-director of the Virginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Action Alliance. The donated items have been distributed to domestic violence shelters in the local communities where the items were collected. Money collected through online donations will be distributed to shelters by the National Network to End Domestic Violence.

Broadcom Extends Offer Period for Innovision Research & Technology PLC

DISH Network Launches New Satellite to Boost Industry's Largest HD Offering
ENGLEWOOD, Colo., July 11 -- DISH Network L.L.C., the fastest-growing pay-TV provider in America, today announced the launch of EchoStar XV, the company's second successful satellite launch this year.
When EchoStar XV begins operations later this summer, it will allow DISH Network to continue expanding the largest high definition offering in the U.S. The company currently delivers more than 200 national HD channels as well as HD locals in 156 markets.
Built by Space Systems/Loral, EchoStar XV launched on an International Launch Services Proton/Breeze M vehicle from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan at 2:40 p.m. EDT on Saturday, July 10. After a nine-hour, 13-minute mission, EchoStar XV was successfully released into geosynchronous transfer orbit. The satellite will ultimately reside at 61.5 degrees West Longitude at an altitude of approximately 22,000 miles.

- Philanthropic iPhone and iPod touch application, PocketPhilanthropist, features different charity each week
BERKELEY, Calif., July 9 -- Two former high school classmates from Seattle have teamed up, 11 years later, to create PocketPhilanthropist, an iPhone and iPod touch application designed to raise funds for a different charity each week.
Available as of July 5, the free "app" can be downloaded from iTunes. With it, users are able to make charitable donations, starting at $1, with the touch of a finger. Each week, PocketPhilanthropist features a different charity and distributes "app" generated donations back to that charity.
"After witnessing the power of mobile donations for the Haiti crisis last year, we've found that avenues for making donations should become increasingly simple and accessible," said Nathan Moyer, co-founder of PocketPhilanthropist, Inc. Moyer and Hong founded the organization after witnessing over $3 million raised in one day for the Haiti crisis via mobile text donations.
