Each phase features looped animation or photos combined with professional instruction from the Bryan brothers and other top pros.
The TENNIS App's animation control allows you to slow down the action by adjusting playback speed. Users can also pause the lesson, and manually step frame by frame to study every detail. And you are able to automatically zero in on the most important portion of the animation or photo.

USCarrier Telecom Helps Verizon Wireless Build the First 4G LTE Network in Georgia and Alabama
LAS VEGAS, ATLANTA, and BASKING RIDGE, N.J., March 24 -- From CTIA WIRELESS 2010®, USCarrier Telecom, LLC and Verizon Wireless announced today that USCarrier's Southeastern regional fiber-optic network has been selected by Verizon Wireless as part of its plan to build the nation's first 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network.
USCarrier is utilizing the most advanced Dense Wave Division Multiplexing (DWDM) transmission over its high-capacity optical transport network and will supply backhaul links between major Verizon Wireless switch centers throughout Georgia and Alabama. Additionally, USCarrier is coordinating efforts with Verizon Wireless partners to aggregate cell tower traffic to major switch centers.
"Verizon Wireless has been one of USCarrier's most prominent customers since 2004," said Joaquin Luna, president of USCarrier Telecom. "Because of the increased demand for mobile data traffic, USCarrier is dedicated to staying in the forefront of network technology as we continuously upgrade our core network to help deliver the most innovative, cost-effective 3G and 4G services available to Verizon Wireless."
Nicola Palmer, Verizon Wireless network vice president, said, "USCarrier Telecom has been a long-time partner, and together we are already working hard to ensure that our network in Georgia and Alabama will be ready to handle the bandwidth required for our 4G network."
Verizon Wireless' LTE rollout plan positions the company as a global leader in 4G LTE deployment, and it is on track to deliver the nation's first 4G LTE network to customers in 25 to 30 markets, covering roughly 100 million people by year's end. Verizon Wireless has been conducting trials in Boston and Seattle since August 2009 that have indicated that the network is capable of peak download speeds of 40 to 50 megabits per second (Mbps), peak upload speeds of 20 to 25 Mbps, and average data rates of 5 to 12 Mbps on the downlink and 2 to 5 Mbps on the uplink in real-world environments. Paradigm Telecom, Inc. Helps Verizon Wireless Build the First 4G LTE Network in the Country by Providing Network Solutions in the South
LAS VEGAS; PENSACOLA, Fla.; and BASKING RIDGE, N.J., March 24 -- From CTIA WIRELESS 2010®, Paradigm Telecom, Inc. and Verizon Wireless announced today that Verizon Wireless will deploy Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) and 802.1Q standards across custom-designed, proprietary fiber networks as Verizon Wireless builds the nation's first 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network.
Paradigm Telecom was one of the first companies to provide Verizon Wireless with Fiber-To-The-Cell (FTTC) starting in 2004 along the Gulf Coast and Florida Panhandle. Since that time, the Verizon Wireless and Paradigm Telecom relationship has extended with Paradigm Telecom providing facilities and network solutions to Verizon Wireless in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas.
Now, with Verizon Wireless poised to become the nation's first 4G LTE network provider, Paradigm Telecom is providing Verizon Wireless with customized network solutions to meet increasing bandwidth demands in the wireless industry. Paradigm Telecom delivers proprietary All IP-MPLS Ethernet or EOS Backhaul Networks for Verizon Wireless' 4G LTE network. The diverse, fiber-optic, scalable Layer 2 Carrier-Class Ethernet Network solutions link the cell site to the Mobile Switching Center (MSC).
Karen Toth, chief executive officer for Paradigm Telecom, stated, "Over the past nine years, Paradigm Telecom has always strived to provide Verizon Wireless with the most advanced, high-speed, fiber-optic networks available while keeping in mind that the networks that we deploy must convert as easily as possible to the ever-changing network needs of Verizon Wireless' customer base, creation of new and innovative technologies, and equipment deployment. Paradigm Telecom is pleased to be on the forefront of technology, providing Verizon Wireless the network infrastructure to be the global leader in 4G deployment and the nation's first 4G LTE wireless network provider."
Nicola Palmer, Verizon Wireless network vice president, said, "We expect Verizon Wireless customers in the South will be well-served with a great 4G LTE network because of the work Paradigm is doing today."
The speeds are significantly faster than Verizon Wireless and other wireless providers' current or promised 3G network speeds.
By leveraging its 700 MHz spectrum for LTE deployment in the United States, Verizon Wireless is capable of quickly deploying a high-quality wireless broadband network with excellent coverage and in-building penetration. Verizon Wireless is currently installing LTE equipment at existing cell sites and switching centers around the United States as part of its extensive, ongoing investment in its voice and data network infrastructure.
Verizon Wireless operates the nation's most reliable and largest wireless voice and 3G data network, serving more than 91 million customers. Headquartered in Basking Ridge, N.J., with 83,000 employees nationwide, Verizon Wireless is a joint venture of Verizon Communications (NYSE: VZ)(NASDAQ: VZ) and Vodafone (NASDAQ:VOD). NIEUWEGEIN and WAARDENBURG, The Netherlands, March 24, 2010--
- Teleena Launches First Operator VastMobiel on Unused GSM Frequency
Customers using mobile telephony by VastMobiel are among the first to use
the recently liberalised DECT Guard Band, a frequency between GSM and DECT.
By using Teleena's so called picocell, a private indoor network is created
for small and midsized companies, hospitals or offices, that reduces costs by
20 or 30 percent and offers better indoor coverage.
Picocells are small private GSM cells, similar to WiFi, which make indoor
mobile calls, text messages and the use of internet possible. When the
customer leaves the building or the office, his mobile phone with Teleena SIM
switches back automatically to the national public network and vice versa.
The picocells allow the use of the DECT Guard Band frequency, which was
opened up for public use by the Dutch government last year and which can be
used for small private GSM networks.
From now on new Teleena customer VastMobiel offers companies the
opportunity to benefit from this new development. Companies can reduce their
telecom cost and improve their indoor coverage. Outside the office they can
use Teleena's core network, which is connected with one of the mayor public
mobile networks.
Over fifty Dutch companies already have their own branded SIM-cards for
private use or to sell to their customers. Teleena expects their number to
grow in the coming years. Also it expects to introduce this solution in
several European countries when they also liberalise this frequency.
Teleena develops custom made solutions that are innovative and flexible
for the so-called mobile virtual operators (MVNO's). Teleena has connected
its network to the Vodafone radio network which guarantees high quality.
Earlier Teleena introduced a two-country SIM for the PTT of Suriname:
Telesur. On this SIM card the Netherlands and Suriname are technically united
as a single market for mobile telephony: the customer has an account, a
mailbox and one rate for both Suriname and the Netherlands and can be called
through his mobile number in The Netherlands and Suriname. Recently
supermarket chain DekaMarkt became a Teleena customer for whom Teleena
introduced a unique integrated loyalty solution: customers collect free
minutes when shopping at DekaMarkt.

Conterra Broadband Providing Hybrid Backhaul Transport In North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia for Verizon Wireless' 4G LTE Network
LAS VEGAS, CHARLOTTE, N.C., and BASKING RIDGE, N.J., March 24 -- From CTIA WIRELESS 2010®, Conterra Broadband Services ("Conterra") and Verizon Wireless announced today that Conterra's hybrid fiber/microwave network services are being used by Verizon Wireless to help build the nation's largest 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network.
Conterra's transport networks support the huge volume of backhaul traffic enabled by new 3G and 4G LTE technologies and the new data-capable devices that have become commonplace among today's wireless mobility subscribers. Conterra's deployments to support Verizon Wireless in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia offer both SONET/TDM and native Ethernet capability.
Conterra's hybrid networks provide fiber-level performance from end to end, even in rural areas where fiber is unavailable and carrier-grade microwave connections are required. Furthermore, Conterra's networks are designed to be easily upgraded and extended as Verizon Wireless has demonstrated frequently by expanding bandwidth needs and extending their data coverage into more rural areas.
"Verizon Wireless has been a key partner in Conterra's emergence as a trusted service provider in the U.S. backhaul market," noted Steve Leeolou, chairman and chief executive officer of Conterra. "For more than three years, we have been providing high-quality, scalable network solutions to support the upgrading of Verizon Wireless' backhaul capabilities in the Southeast; and, based on our successful track record, we are now actively engineering customized transport services in other underserved parts of the country."
Nicola Palmer, Verizon Wireless network vice president, said, "Conterra's expertise in providing backhaul in less-populated areas is a perfect fit as we lay the groundwork to provide rural and small-town Americans with incredible new wireless broadband services with our 4G LTE network."
Microsoft Connects People in New Ways With Communications Server '14'
Gurdeep Singh Pall, corporate vice president of Microsoft's Office Communications Group, reveals new features during the first public demonstration of the software and discloses the availability date for Communications Server '14.'
ORLANDO, Fla., March 24 -- Today at the VoiceCon Orlando 2010 conference, Microsoft Corp. announced that the next version of its unified communications software, code-named Communications Server "14," will be available in the second half of 2010. In his keynote address, Gurdeep Singh Pall, corporate vice president of Microsoft's Office Communications Group, demonstrated the new software for the first time publicly and said Communications Server "14" will help make communications simpler, more open and more cost-efficient.
Pall said the new software includes a complete communications solution, with full enterprise telephony; a familiar and powerful way to communicate and collaborate using a sleek, simplified Communicator client that works with Microsoft Office, Microsoft SharePoint Server and Microsoft Exchange; and a versatile platform that allows customers to embed communications in applications. In addition, customers will be able to use instant messaging, presence and other capabilities of the software both on-premises and in the cloud with Microsoft Office Communications Online.
Among the capabilities demonstrated today, Pall showed how Communications Server "14" helps people find colleagues based on their expertise through a new skill search feature; understand when their colleagues are available to collaborate and, with a new location-awareness feature, where they are available; easily initiate collaboration; and bring together the content, resources and people needed to work together.
Three years ago, business communications technology began the transformation from technology silos into an integrated software platform. Now, Microsoft's unified communications software has been adopted broadly by millions of customers.
In his keynote address, Pall predicted that technologies such as Communications Server "14" will usher in a new chapter in business communications, the rise of "connected communications." He predicted that, in the next three years, more than 75 percent of new business applications will include embedded unified communications, and plain business calls will become outdated with more than 50 percent of voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) calls incorporating more than just voice.
"With software at the center, innovation in this industry has accelerated, leading to the introduction of new capabilities that leapfrog traditional hardware-bound communications systems," Pall said.
Forrester Research estimates that the market for unified communications software will grow to $14.5 billion by 2015.*
Earlier this week, 12 Microsoft partners also announced new products and services that enhance Communications Server "14." These include low-cost Internet protocol (IP) phones, branch office survivability solutions, call accounting software, and enhanced 911 solutions that augment Microsoft's enterprise telephony offering.
These partners join a broad ecosystem of thousands of partners delivering solutions for Microsoft's unified communications software, including applications, voice services, session initiation protocol (SIP) trunking, and interoperable private branch exchanges (PBXs) and gateways.
"Customers and partners have flocked to Office Communications Server since its introduction in October 2007, because businesses are quickly seeing cost savings and productivity gains," Pall said.
Today, Office Communications Server is one of the fastest growing servers at Microsoft, with double-digit growth over the past three years. Fortune 500 companies, top pharmaceutical firms, successful financial institutions and large communications providers now use Office Communications Server, including A.T. Kearney, Infonavit and Sprint Nextel.
"Office Communications Server offers us the features we need out of the box, without requiring additional licenses, and we expect to save 20 percent or more in costs each year," said Kevin Rice, global network architect for A.T. Kearney. "The interoperability with Office and SharePoint Server also gives us the ability to 'click to dial' colleagues from these applications, and we've avoided the cost of hardware and licensing required by other vendors, since everything from conferencing to VoIP comes in one package."
Founded in 1975, Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) is the worldwide leader in software, services and solutions that help people and businesses realize their full potential.

LG Electronics Showcases Assortment of Cell Phones Equipped With Broadcast Digital TV Reception
Miniature LG System-On-Chip Powers the Tiny Televisions that Bring Live, Local Broadcasts to Viewers Wherever They Go
LAS VEGAS, March 24 -- Showing wireless operators how they can harness the emergence of broadcast mobile digital television (DTV), LG Electronics today demonstrated three prototype cell phone models that receive the new mobile DTV signals now being transmitted by nearly four dozen broadcast stations around the country. With hundreds of stations expected to sign on the air using the newly-minted technology this year and demand for truly mobile, portable DTV reception on the rise, LG is showing the handsets to wireless industry executives at the CTIA Wireless 2010 conference here this week.
"With more broadcasters adding mobile digital TV transmissions each month, we want to show the wireless industry exactly what's involved in delivering over-the-air digital TV signals, familiar programs from your favorite TV stations, to mobile phone users. The devices we're showing here work with the free over-the-air Mobile DTV signals from broadcasters, complementing video services by wireless carriers. In addition to these cell phones running on both the CDMA and GSM networks, we're also demonstrating how easy it is to receive mobile DTV on a netbook with a plug-in accessory receiver," said Ehtisham Rabbani, vice president, marketing and innovation, LG Mobile Phones.
Based on the mobile DTV standard co-developed by LG Electronics, the handsets equipped with mobile DTV include a CDMA phone with twin LCD screens (on the inside, and outside, of the clamshell handset); a CDMA model with a 2.8-inch LCD screen and up to four hours of DTV-viewing battery life, and a GSM phone with a 3-inch LCD screen also with up to four hours of DTV time.
Wireless industry veteran Anne Schelle, now executive director of the Open Mobile Video Coalition, representing more than 900 TV stations, applauded LG for its leadership in developing the new mobile DTV broadcast standard, chips and handsets, adding: "Mobile DTV represents a significant opportunity for wireless carriers to partner with broadcasters and take advantage of this robust point-to-multipoint video distribution system. This will allow cellular operators to more efficiently use their own spectrum for value-added services, while tapping into a new revenue source by providing interactive services to consumers and audience measurement capabilities to TV stations."
Seven Millimeters Square
The eye-catching demonstrations by LG are made possible by a new reception, tuning and decoding chip that measures only seven millimeters on each side, designed for easy integration into mobile phone handsets. The LG2161R receiver chip is already in pilot production and will move to mass production this summer. This latest-generation LG mobile DTV chip includes both the RF (radio frequency) tuner and the mobile DTV demodulator for reception and display of the robust new DTV signals that are now being transmitted by select local broadcast TV stations.
The new LG2161R is a system-on-chip architecture that fully supports the specification of the Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) A/153 mobile DTV standard with the capability of receiving mobile TV broadcasts in both the UHF and VHF bands. With improved channel changing speed from earlier chipsets, the LG2161R also features enhanced reception performance and like its predecessors is extraordinarily efficient - allowing a typical cell phone viewer to watch more than 3.5 hours of programming on a single battery charge.
Netbook and USB Receiver Combo
Also highlighted in the LG exhibit at CTIA Wireless 2010 is the powerful new LG X300 netbook connected to an external USB-port "dongle" receiver that can easily receive the same over-the-air mobile DTV signals viewed on the prototype cell phones. Weighing in at fewer than 990g with smart built-in features such as Smart-On 2.0, built-in Wi-Fi and a 64GB hard drive, the X300 provides the ultimate on-the-go computing - and with the dongle receiver, broadcast television - experience.
"Among the first products to reach consumers will be a variety of USB receivers for mobile DTV, most of which are built around LG chips for reception," said Dr. Jong Kim, president of LG's U.S. R&D lab, Zenith. These low-cost receivers can instantaneously transform a netbook, or laptop computer into a mobile digital TV receiver with the addition of software that will come with the USB device. LG is working with more than a dozen companies to introduce mobile DTV products in the U.S. market - all powered by LG chips."
Mobile Digital TV: LG's Latest Innovation
The deployment of mobile DTV by local broadcasters and by device manufacturers is the next logical step for digital television. LG took a leadership role at the beginning of the digital transition with HDTV projection TV sets, which have now evolved into svelte and stylish flat-screen LCD and Plasma models. LG technology was built into millions of digital TV converter boxes that are bridging consumers who are extending the life of their analog screens, and now LG technology is paving the way for mobile digital TV with the introduction of new products from a variety of manufacturers that utilize the LG mobile DTV receiving/decoding chip inside.
Standardized by the ATSC and formally adopted as the Mobile DTV standard just five months ago, the new Mobile DTV standard allows broadcasters to use a portion of the existing 19.4 Megabit-per-second DTV channel capacity to transmit data with extremely robust characteristics suitable for mobile, pedestrian and handheld applications. The Mobile DTV signal is also compatible with 8-VSB DTV, which was developed by Zenith, LG's U.S. research and development lab.

ADT Sues Three Alarm Salespeople and Two Companies for Unfair and Unlawful Business Practices
BOCA RATON, Fla., March 24 -- As part of its continuing quest to prevent deceptive behavior from door-to-door home security salespeople, ADT Security Services has filed a lawsuit against Tom Brady, Susan Brady and Lance Woods of Memphis-based The Alarm Company, LLC. In addition to The Alarm Company, the suit was filed against Security Networks, LLC of West Palm Beach, Fla. which appears to be providing security services for systems installed by The Alarm Company.
The suit alleges that during a sales call last December, Woods coerced 95-year-old Alice Johnson of Knoxville, Tenn. into switching out her ADT system and signing a contract with Security Networks.
According to the lawsuit, Woods told Ms. Johnson that he was an ADT employee and that the upgrade was necessary because there had been recent violent crime in her neighborhood. "I think it was the lowest thing that could have been done, to come in here and lie to get some work," Johnson said.
ADT has taken previous legal action against Tom and Susan Brady for a number of unlawful and unethical actions. Also, the Mid-South Better Business Bureau has logged dozens of complaints against the Bradys and their businesses, giving them an "F" rating.
"The Alarm Company has had a very poor record over the past several years," said Randy Hutchinson, president of the Mid-South BBB in Memphis. "The complainants are often the children or caregivers of elderly homeowners who allege that The Alarm Company salespeople knock on their doors and make up stories to pressure them into buying something they don't want or need."
Last summer, ADT announced it was initiating legal action against individual salespeople who commit deceptive sales practices. ADT has received complaints from consumers in at least 22 states.
"We believe it is our responsibility as the nation's leading home security provider to aggressively pursue cases against people who lie, mislead and harass unsuspecting victims," said David Bleisch, ADT chief legal officer.
