China-Africa Development Fund, Hisense Opens New Industrial Park in South Africa
QINGDAO, China, June 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- On June 6th, Hisense( http://www.hisense.com ) officially opened its new Home Appliances Industrial Park in Atlantis, a town in Western Cape, South Africa. The 100,000-square-meter industrial park located 40 kilometers from the port of Cape Town is the most important electronics and home appliance production base in South Africa. As a joint project between Hisense and the China-Africa Development Fund, the new park will have an annual production capacity of 400,000 TVs and 400,000 refrigerators. The base is designed for producing energy-saving refrigerators, Smart 3D HDTVs, and other high-end and eco-friendly products for the South African market as well as more than 30 countries across sub-Saharan Africa, including Angola, Ghana, and Congo. The new approach will also ultimately alter the way brands, advertisers and partners engage with fans. zeebox TV Rooms 1.0 (beta) is a user-driven community for passionate TV fans to share experiences and thoughts with fellow fans in virtual rooms they create or join that are specific to shows, characters, themes and more.
While TV Rooms are largely fan-driven, Bravo Media is the first network to set up an official network-sponsored zeebox TV Room. The "Real Housewives" TV Room - which will go live in tandem with the season premiere "The Real Housewives of Orange County: 100th Episode Special" on Monday, June 24 at 8pm ET/PT - will begin with a bang featuring a special event that includes current and former "Real Housewives" including Jo de la Rosa, Gretchen Rossi and Tamra Barney, as well as Bravo's very own Andy Cohen - allowing live interaction for fans with their favorite villainous or 'housewife of the year' within the official Bravo Media TV Room.

At launch, the app features more than 4,000 TV Rooms (numbers will vary based on location/TV provider) across shows within the two-week viewing schedule, as well as 60 themed TV Rooms ranging from "Reality TV Time" to "Late Night Show Breakdown." The Top 50 Rooms will be highlighted every week and ranked based on activity (likes, comments, shares) and members currently joining.
The TV Rooms feature is available for iOS devices in the App Store and is accessible within the menu tabs of the zeebox app. TV Rooms will be available for Android devices in the coming weeks. Why is it so important to provide this type of mobile job search experience?
Fact: Mobile job search is growing at an accelerated rate. According to comScore, 9.3 million workers searched for jobs via their mobile devices in March 2013, up from 2.3 million in March 2012.(2) Google's data indicates that 31 percent of searches for "jobs" come from mobile devices.(3)
Fact: The vast majority of companies don't have mobile-optimized career sites. In a CareerBuilder study of the Fortune 500, the company found that only 99 of them (20 percent) had career sites with a mobile-friendly process to search for jobs. Fact: It's not uncommon to see mobile job applications that are ten pages long. CareerBuilder recently audited a sample apply process for each of 686 different clients and found that the apply processes range from 1 to 22 pages in length.

Mobile candidates drop off and often don't return to apply from a desktop later. This is especially true of in-demand, high-skill job candidates who are currently employed.
