NetEase Showcases New PC and Mobile Games at Second Annual Game Enthusiasts' Day

NetEase revealed a pipeline of 41 total games during the event, including footage of over 20 never before released new PC and mobile games. The event highlighted the latest additions to its portfolio of 90 mobile games, including Fantasy Westward Journey: Warriors and Westward Journey: Rage, which extend the franchise of China's two most popular mobile games, Fantasy Westward Journey and Westward Journey Online. Socionext's 360-degree WAV system uses cameras facing forward, backward, left and right to synthesize images on a three-dimensional model, then generate the views around the vehicle. Conventional systems synthesize images only on a two-dimensional model, and can provide a view only from a certain fixed viewpoint, such as from the top. In contrast, the WAV three-dimensional model can display views around the vehicle from any perspective, making it useful for parking assistance and other applications such as lane change while driving. The system can enhance situational awareness for operators of construction vehicles.

Socionext offered its graphics display controller ICs and software to assist automotive equipment makers in the development of their customized WAV systems. Conventionally in order for customers to develop fully-optimized WAV systems, they needed to purchase the necessary hardware and software, then learn how to adjust the camera positioning and become familiar with the use of the software library and the design tool. Such methods take a much longer time than desired just to complete the initial evaluation.

Fluke announces the 279 FC TRMS Thermal Multimeter, the first test tool to integrate a full-featured true RMS (TRMS) digital multimeter (DMM) with a thermal camera in one device to speed troubleshooting.
The 279 FC allows technicians to quickly and safely check for hot spots in fuses, wires, insulators, connectors, splices, and switches with the imager and then troubleshoot and analyze issues with the DMM. By combining two powerful test tools into one, electricians and technicians can carry fewer tools and have a higher level of confidence they have the tools handy to solve problems.
The thermal multimeter features 15 electrical measurement functions including ac/dc voltage, resistance, continuity, capacitance, diode test, min/max, and frequency. The optional iFlex(®) clamp can wrap around conductors and wires in tight, hard-to-reach spaces and expands its measurement capabilities to include ac current up to 2500 A. The 3.5 inch (8.89 cm) full-color LCD screen makes for easy, clear viewing of images.
